An easy by the side of the road stop to admire the view. Sadly, we saw much of the recent devastation caused by the June 2017 forest fires. A food/drink van was parked nearby, but we didnt try it out.

A roadside spot to stop and take in the awesome view. There was a coffee truck parked there at the time we stopped but it was missing when we passed next day.

Best view of Knysna from the western side on the heads - on the Brenton on sea road - good for sunrise and moonrise at full moon

Situated on route to Belvidere village and Brenton on Sea, this roadside stop offers spectacular views of Knysna. There are a few benches to sit on and enjoy the views of the lagoon.

This has to be a must do activity. Take a good bottle of wine and a basket of cheese and watch the sunset and sit with Margaret for a while. She will enjoy your company.

Everybody raves about the view of Knysna lagoon from the Heads. That must be because they haven't discovered this little pull off on the Brenton on sea road.

This is a viewpoint only. There are no amenities. Shops, rest rooms or other facilities. It's rarely crowded, so parking is easy. The view itself is breathtaking. If you have time to visit simply for a viewpoint, this is a definite must on the list....More
