Unfortunately we were in Oudtshoorn during a holiday when many places were closed. Not having any knowledge about ostrich we were really happy to find the Cango Ostrich Farm open. A tour bus had just left so we waited for about 30 minutes for the...More

We had an enjoyable time at Cango Ostrich Show Farm. 'Tour' starts in a lecture room and get good insights before moving on to incubation area and opportunity to handle eggs. Interactions with various ostriches on the farm follows, again educational and informative. Us adults...More

I must say that I have learned something new about these amazing animals. I was happy that the farm had stopped all the riding activities. Animals should not be involved in such type of tourist attraction - feeding them is more than enough. The visit...More

We stopped here en route to Arniston, and had a very instructive talk about how the ostrich are bred and managed (despite a really noisy, rude German group behind us!), including hand-feeding and an 'ostrich neck massage'. This was followed by a very civilised lunch...More

Really enjoyed our visit here - learned a lot about the ostriches and was hilarious when my wife was volunteered to feed them. Worth a visit on the way back from the Cango Caves.

An information tour to learn about Ostriches. We were able to hand feed and also ‘cuddle’ an ostrich. Worth a visit

This tour was a great tour for kids. It was brief yet informative and when it’s hot outside it was just enough information shared! My daughter loved the tour and learning about ostriches and loved being able to touch them.
