Great place to kill an hour wandering round. Great Bonsai exhibit just a shame that the greenhouses are not just left open.

We have lunch here on all our visits to Stellenbosch. The food is beautifully cooked, all at a ridiculously low price. Wine at R130 per bottle!

The Stellenbosch University Botanical Garden is a gem in the town. Only a few acres, with a stunning Bonsai collection. Admission is only R10 per person. Do take time to spend an hour or two here.

Nice light food at a very reasonable price . Coffee and juice was lovely and the gardens are worth a walk to get out of the busy town

A small oasis of lush green gardens in the town of Stellenbosch. R10 each to enter (bargain). Lilly pond is peaceful, with all the Lilies flowering at the moment.

The gardens are impressive, especially in springtime when everything is blooming. You will see students chilling out, some engrossed in reading. You will see garden enthusiasts enjoying the flowers and greenery. You will see photographers capturing the beauty. Don't miss it.

Absolute peace and quiet amongst amazing vegetation in the heart of this buzzling town. Walking distance from the busy town centre, you'll think you're in the middle of a forest. Don't miss the bonsais. Try the tea and scones
