Some lovely wines on offer here at Muratie. The wine tasting is well presented and the lady who assisted us on the day was very passionate about the farm and the wines they produce.

This is a historical winery, with lots of histories and curious facts. It’s been with the same buildings, decoration and architecture since last century, so it’s very interesting. Besides that, they have great wines and some good jams. An art gallery can visited too.

This must be one of the most unique wine farms in South-Africa. There's so much history. They also have some of the best wines. Make sure to book lunch as well. The chef is AMAZING.

We came to Muratie for a tasting on a rainy day. We settled ourselves in a cosy corner of what used to be a cement wine tank near a log fire. The staff were lovely and with each wine, they explained the story of the...More

This is one of my favourite wine tasting farms. The staff are friendly and fun and the farm has a wide variety of interesting and novel wines to taste. They also have a delicious chocolate and dessert wine pairing which I'd recommend as the flagship...More

We visited this rustic but charming winery with our wine guide, now I don’t know if it was because of him or that’s what they always do, but we had a great time. Madame was very friendly and offered lots of wine tasting in the...More

Off the R44. Very very old tasting room complete with cobwebs in lovely shaded gardens. The clivias would be a sight to behold in Spring. Knowledgable staff and good wines both red and white. Also an opportunity to join the Wine Club for free if...More
