Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

The beach isn't very big, but it is easy to find and convenient. As most beaches in Slovenia, there is no sand(except maybe in the sandbox for children) but the way this beach is organized makes up for it. There's a play zone for children as well as a sandbox(which is shaded), changing rooms and toilets. You can sunbathe by the water or on the green zone(maybe not that much grass, but it's a beach). There are also some piers with ladders which facilitate entering the water as well as two platforms in the water for diving off(very fun to use). There are also lifeguards.

We thought this was a terrific bathing area. We had arrived on a cruise ship and wanted a swim in the sea. It's right in the port, we could see it from deck. This place has everything you could want for a trip to the seaside (without the sand - nice) and we thought it was very well planned and laid out. Yes it is small and crowded but you'd still find room to put down a picnic blanket or a sun bed. There are two jettys with ladders so you get instant depth into lovely water. Both had lifeguards. On the sea there are pontoons for jumping and diving off, there is something for every generation here. Benches for the elderly to sit in the shade, there was even a mini library on the path, which looked like it had books for all ages! Showers, toilets, huts for changing, a large covered sandpit for toddlers, swings and other amusements. There is also a bar/restaurant, service was a bit slow here but it looked like they just didn't have enough staff. We got a lovely table overlooking the water so we didn't mind waiting for our beer (about €4 for a big one) What is really amazing is being able to sit with a drink and watch a huge cargo ship sail in and dock right before your eyes.
We live beside a beach in Ireland and if ours had half the facilities of this one, we'd be delighted. The area was also kept clean, no litter. The water was pretty clean too. There is some debris from trees and foliage but it all accumulates in a corner. It was quite choppy with big waves the day we were there, but the swim was all the more enjoyable. And it has the all important Blue Flag.

Koper City Beach is found close to docking facility Koper and is that the solely bathing place within the city, and thus, within the hot summer days, several locals area unit attracted. The pool contains a natural shade below the pine trees with a grassy surface, 2 pavilions, a toilet, showers and a room, the youngest one contains a massive children's playground with a pit, and a disabled pier is additionally offered for access to the ocean. The beach at the Koper town pool is pebbled and therefore the water is step by step gathered, therefore it's additionally appropriate for kids. The pool is additionally restricted by a network that gives even larger cleanliness and safety. within the neck of the woods there's additionally a due lot, and entry is free.

A very nice and well-maintained pier, there are beautiful beaches nearby where you can relax. You will also find many good restaurants here.

We are very frequent travelers and sow some brilliant and not so good beaches around the world. But this one is one of the worst ever! Overcrowded and dirty with lots of algae, etc. Feel like cut my stay here short and runaway. Not recommended at all.

The shoreline of Slovenia is not really big and their are a few villages along the coast. Most of them do have some kind of beach. Most are not sandy. Koper has a small beach front as well, providing some facilities lik showers and some restaurants and bars. Small beach for a small village. It can get crowded. But it does have some nice sunsets

About 100m beach long with a concrete drop off with a swimming pool style step. Just to be clear there is no beach, sand or pebbles. But still a lovely place to cool of. You can sit on the grass and have a picnic.

It has a life guard and is very clean

Looking for a chance to relax in the sun on a cruise stopover? This beach is within easy walking distance from the port, and, while very small, is nicely equipped with changing booths. The small beach is a pebble one, but the water is crystal clear and inviting. The swimming area is fenced off for safety. When we visited, it was nice to see people relaxing on the grass in the sunshine, and others swimming in the water.
