Neighbourhood: Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

My wife and I came upon Vinosfera one night while walking to dinner. Really nice place with a great selection of Argentine wines. We had a couple of wines by the glass. Most importantly, the staff was great, Bert gave us recommendations and we bought several bottles to bring home to California. He wrapped each in bubble wrap so they could make the trip. Great experience, definitely recommended.

We were wondering the streets of BA looking for a pre-dinner drink option .... it was the night of our 26th wedding anniversary. What a find this place is! Bert the owner is very hospitable and offers great advice about which wines to try... you can have three different sizes, from tasting sample to a large glass. We had an enjoyable evening tasting three different wines. Bert invited us back for a wine tasting on the Friday evening (they have regular tastings every Friday night) which was a very special thing to do and will remain a very fond memory for us of our time in Argentina. You don't have to be a wine buff to enjoy this place but Bert gives you a fantastic understanding of Argentinian wines.

My husband and I popped in here when walking past one afternoon. The owner was super helpful and showed us a number of interesting wines. We stopped off to drink a bottle in the shop and he was happy to chat with us and make recommendations for places we should visit.
Was a great experience. Definitely drop by if you are in the area.

We loved the gorgeous little boutique wine tasting experience in Guatemala district. Miguel was a very interesting and knowledgeable sommelier. Great introduction to Argentine wines including Torrentos and enjoyed some interesting Malbec blends. A great way to spend an hour enjoying good wine and cheeses and learning about high altitude wine making.

On our three-day visit in BA, we knew we wanted to squeeze in a little wine-tasting/education and this was the most perfect spot! It's mainly a wine store, but they also offer informal wine tastings. They were able to accomodate us without a reservation right when we walked in. The sommolier, Miguel, was so kind, knowledgeable, and wonderful. He led us through 4 Argentinian wines and explained the region of origin, growing conditions, etc. We are far from wine experts, and he was very helpful in answering our (likely silly) questions. The tasting comes with a really nice cheese board of local cheeses and snacks. Thanks, Miguel! Highly recommend.

We were going to a restaurant called Don Julio on Guatemala and just came across this wine tasting bar as we had an hour to kill before our reservation. The owner was extremely friendly and engaging and the wine we selected (Gran Mascota Cabernet Sauvignon 2015) was excellent. There were a few seats outside and more inside. Was very relaxed atmosphere and could easily have stayed there for longer.

We had visited this great wine shop which just by chance was about 100 meters from our hotel. We met the owners and were told they were having their one year anniversary wine tasting Thursday and Friday night. We signed up immediately and went Friday night. It was a great event, music, snacks and over 50 bottles of different wines to taste and enjoy! The place was packed and again the owners greeted us in such a friendly way and took the time to explain the various wines we were absolutely taken back by the hospitality of these two young men. The wine of course was excellent.

Bert led our tasting in English and taught us a lot about the regions of Argentina as it relates to the wine we drank. The wine, cheese, olive oil, and bread were all delicious. The Bonarda and Malbec were our favorites. Intimate setting with only a few others in the tasting room, but still felt casual enough to be comfortable. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at this wine tasting. The place is beautiful, and our teacher Ivana was kind, funny, and spoke outstanding English. It is a casual and fun activity that I highly recommend. 10/10!
