This was one of our best tour experiences ever! We were in Buenos Aires for only 36 hours and wanted to make the most of it. From the start, Madi worked with us to understand what we wanted to see and do and to make it fit our schedule. The result was an unforgettable experience. On the first of our two walking tours, Juan showed us the older, southern part of the city - Boca, San Telmo and the Plaza de Mayo area. Boca in particular was fascinating, since we ventured past the small tourist-jammed center to really understand this complicated neighborhood. We delved into the football culture (why Messi is loved but Maradona is revered), the messages in the street art, the history of the tango, etc. We came away with an understanding of what life is like in the city. The next day, Nestor took us to the more affluent northern neighborhoods, with their mansions from the country's Golden Age. We learned about how that wealth was built and its subsequent downfall that still influences Argentina's economy and politics. The insights into the city and country's history continued in the incredible Recoleta Cemetery and the plazas and monuments in the area. The empanadas and gelato along the way also deserve mention. Both Juan and Nestor, though different in personality, were comprehensively knowledgeable and completely engaging and approachable. They took great care of us. They earn our highest recommendation. Book a tour with BACC if you can.

It was hard to choose a 'few photos' from a day where we put the camera down more than in our hands and just drank in the local culture. From the moment I booked this tour with Madi I felt special. She responded quickly, offered suggestions to all my questions ( and I had many)This was a family trip with our adults son, who we seldom see -- we had not been together, as a family for years. Madi, knowing this, worked on advising me of activities that would share conversation and include activities to keep us engaged on a common ground. From the moment Nestor picked us up, to the ride on the river, the freshly grilled fabulous steaks, the kayaks, all leading up to Ariel Hernandez sitting on his porch and playing his Bandoneon. He shared stories of tango, Argentina, and his life on the river. Nestor kindly translated all the stories he shared. This is a full day trip. This trip, this 'experience' is a VALUE for what you get in personal service, meals, wine, and a well executed very professional cultural experience.

Oct 2023 • Friends
This is the second time we worked with BA Cultural Concierge. Madi and her team are your trusted friends in Buenos Aires. You don't have to worry about anything. From being picked up at the airport and chauffeured around Buenos Aires to great hotel recommendations in your budget to interesting private tours to reservations at exciting restaurants, Madi and her team are available 24/7 to make the most of your time in Argentina.

On our first trip in October 2022, we traveled with my 83—year-old father. When we landed, he immediately needed to go to the hospital for a cortisone shot. This was an unexpected stop, but Juan, our tour guide, handled the detour with humor and compassion. They also arranged a wheelchair and van for his needs during our stay. They also booked us a flight to Patagonia, ensuring my dad had comfortable first-class seats. Usually, we would have assumed this was very expensive, but they knew it wasn't and just handled it. We were grateful for the unexpected luxury, and my dad welcomed the comfort. The team understood the needs of my elderly father. They coordinated last-minute trips to the pharmacy, rented a wheelchair for sightseeing, planned an itinerary that accommodated rest stops and accessibility, and ensured he was comfortable at every moment.

My dad also likes old-world elegance, and Madi selected a hotel that was beautiful and met his tastes and, the hotel rooms were modern and comfortable to meet my husband and mine.

I trust BA's choices when working with Madi and her team. Before the trip, she spent time with us, asking many questions about our likes and dislikes. She knew my dad loved watching the Buenos Aires episode of "Somebody Please Feed Phil" and made reservations at several of the restaurants from the episode. This was really fun for my dad.

Madi also organized a private visit to a local artist's studio, where we chatted and had the most exciting afternoon. I didn't have anyone or anything specific in mind when planning to visit a local artist, I just knew I wanted to talk art with an Argentinian! It was so perfect.

On this most recent trip in October 2023, we traveled with friends to Mendoza. Before heading there, Nestor, another BA team member, took us on a 3-hour tour of Buenos Aires since there was a layover for our flight to Mendoza. Even though we had been there on the last trip, they remembered our previous itinerary and made sure we saw new things. Once in Mendoza, Madi selected an exceptional resort and spa, The Vines. The resort is home to Francis Mallman's restaurant, and he happened to be there during our stay. I know Madi didn't plan that for us, but she did pick a place where if it could happen, it would. She and her team know the spots Argentines like to travel to, not just the tourists. We had lovely villas with an outdoor jacuzzi, a full kitchen, an indoor and outdoor fireplace, outdoor showers, and more. The view of the Andies mountains was spectacular, and we woke every morning to the sunrise reflecting off the snow-covered peaks. The resort had bicycles that you could take to ride from vineyard to vineyard to do wine tasting with small boutique vintners. Madi's guide in Mendoza, Gol, was funny, warm, kind, and knowledgeable. She took us to a new restaurant in the pre-opening stages. It was exciting to be there in the early stages of its opening.

This year, we also traveled to Patagonia again. We had trouble with the airlines returning to Buenos Aires. We were bumped from our flight. However, they called to inform us and had an alternative flight worked out for us in advance. Therefore, we never had a moment's worry.

I should mention that Madi is an American who has been living in Argentina for years, so language was never an issue. Because Madi has several people on her team, we are always covered. Each person speaks excellent English and has extensive knowledge of the city, the country, politics, history, and current events. We really got to know the country. On our second visit, it felt like we were there visiting friends. I can't say enough about this company. I wish we had this kind of connection in every country we visit. I can't wait to go back again.

Madi and her entire team were exceptional in planning our Foundation's week of contemporary art experiences in Buenos Aires. They exceeded our expectations by taking care of every last detail from transport and hotels to fantastic dinners and last minute requests. One experience to the next was seamless, well thought out and thoroughly planned. Her collaboration with local art collector Gaby led us to the most exclusive private collections and personal encounters with famous local artists. I would highly recommend BA Cultural Concierge for unique requests and discerning travelers.

Madi and the BACC crew once again made a trip to South America effortless and amazing for myself and my family. Last year they helped make a trip to Buenos Aires wonderful with great places to stay, friendly and knowledgeable guides, unique local adventures beyond the normal tourism, the best food - all coordinated with efficiency and ease for us to focus on our trip, not the logistics. We have been on boat rides, been serenaded on a delta, had private art gallery tours, rode horses in the mountains, taken bike tours, eaten at the best restaurants in South America (and the world), made empanadas on a ranch, etc. They develop great custom itineraries, on your budget, with as much input as you prefer, they accommodate funny requests and want to know what you want, adjust on the fly with a smile and are great communicators with an itinerary app and chat group. This year, they made a relatively last minute trip to Colombia one that we will never forget. The same service we received in Argentina was replicated for a trip to Bogotá and the coffee region of Armenia. I also referred a friend to them for his family trip to Patagonia and he reported back that it was spectacular and my experience w/ BACC was the exact same as his. Work with them. They're smart, cool and good at their job.

Nobody knows how to let you experience the best of Buenos Aires (BA) while taking care of all the details for you better than BA Concierge. It doesn’t matter if it is history, culture, art, architecture, food, the tango, or the outskirts of their city, these guides know it all while making it feel like you are with a friend showing you their favorite city. The conductor orchestrating all of this is Madi Lang. I have used travel agents and concierges all over the world but she is the most detail-oriented, knowledgeable of all things about her city, and so responsive I think the phone is implanted. Her goal is to make your dreams come true and be hassle free no matter what comes up.
I contacted Madi in January 2021 as I was planning a trip to Antarctica since the pickup point was Buenos Aires during the pandemic. There were so many special requirements and she handled everything. Then the trip got cancelled so she had to cancell everything. But no fuss and all the money got refunded.
The Antarctica trip was rescheduled for February 2023. Based on my previous experience, Madi and I planned private BA city tours with a food and architecture focus and a side trip to Iguazu Falls in Brazil and Argentina. So much back and forth with suggestions, questions answered, details worked out. After all the planning, the experience was one of the best trips I have ever taken. I took two tours with Juan over 11 hours and a tour with Nestor for 6 hours. They were both amazing, interesting, educational, and personable. As a widow I felt safe and it was so much fun!!
I would go wherever BA Concierge would take me. Absolutely no reservations about Madi or her team. Get ready to have a wonderful time!

My husband and I love to travel but don't particularly like planning the trip. We reached out to Madi and she developed an amazing trip tailored to our likes. We are both architects and she arranged a private tour with an architect in BA. we also had two other private studio visits with artists in Mendoza. Outdoor activities included kayaking on the Tigre Delta with a private concert with Bandoneon Ariel Herdandes and hiking in the Andes! We also visited with a Tango instructor in her studio and then visited a Milanga to see the Tango in action. Juan and Nestor were fantastic tour guides in BA and Gabriella took great care of us in Mendoza, where we visited several wineries and had fantastic meals.

Madi also took care of all of our hotel and restaurant reservations...the trip was far greater than we could possibly imagine.

I highly recommend Madi and her team.

The entire team was great throughout. The trip was extremely well-planned, tailored very specifically to our needs with great suggestions. Even more impressive was their quick responsiveness to any questions or additional requests made. I highly recommend this group to take the stress out of your trip to Argentina.

Amazingly planned trip by amazing people! Madi planned an amazing trip for us to go to Buenos Aires and Ushuaia. Madi planned excursions, hotels and made restaurant recommendations for us. We had great tours with Nestor and Juan. They all answered questions quickly by text and were willing to help and answer all questions at any time. They were knowledgeable, friendly and we had a great time. Would for sure use them again.
