Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This restaurant just opened up 6 months ago. Definitely one of the best in Buenos Aires. It is housed in a series of buildings, originally completed just before WWI for one of the wealthiedt men in Argentina and owner of the paper La Prensa. The restaurant is fantastic. Wnderful atmosphere, wide selection of appetizers, main courses, desserts and wines. Definitely will be going back.

It was one of the best experiences of my life. It is the finest place I have ever visited, it is a pity that some people do not adapt to it, even though to go to the interior room you have to observe certain etiquette, unlike the garden, where shorts are allowed. The menu is brief, but exquisite and its dishes live up to it. The service is very good, the architecture is beautiful and you can book either via WhatsApp or through their website.

It is a beautiful Palace refurbished to have tea, dinner and celebrate birthdays.
I went on several occasions and we were always treated very well by the rooms on the first floor with excellent furniture that respects and enhances the original decoration of the building.
The outdoor patio on the ground floor is ideal for summer afternoons, cool and quiet, a luxury!

Took the tour today and it was less than expected for the following reasons:
1. Took great effort to make the reservation—emails bombed, incorrect phone number on Google site, etc.
2. No tours in the near future were in English,
3. Numerous rooms were set up for a function so detracted from the grandness and minimal rooms to see,
4. Price of tour for non residents is now 10,000AR, and
5. Due to infrequency of tours, had over 25 people in my tour.
Hope others are more successful. They also host tango shows, which may have been a better option.

We found the snack at this place pleasant, with reservations. We liked the tea with scones and the portion of cake. We ordered a coffee with milk that did not come with a glass of water. The milk, to make a milk tea, came in a very small container. The menu could include more salty products (there were only toasted ones). There was a lot of noise in the place, we suggested playing quiet music. It is unpleasant to see the legend "tip is not included" on the ticket. If you require this, and suggest the customer tip 10%, offer full service first.

I had seen bad comments about the food, but we still chose to go to have our experience. Bad place, no vibe, waiters with a lot of lack of experience, our food was normal, the bread was stale, we asked them to change it and after 15 minutes they brought the same bread but warmed so that it softened, we asked for lemonade with mint and ginger and they brought us water with a little lemon flavor and a slice of lemon inside which we returned, instead we ordered an UNTOMABLE aperol, we noticed that on another table there was also a claim for grilled chicken that was a dry stone. Anyway, I'm not coming back again.

It is an emblematic place; In its imposing rooms you can enjoy the experience of having a coffee (or whatever you like) in the heart of Buenos Aires, as if you were in a palace in Europe.
You can go back to Argentina in the 1900s and imagine for a few moments the habits and customs of the aristocracy of those years. We went as a family and with a couple who were friends. We stayed in one of the rooms, you also have the option of the garden
Everything was correct but the food was normal, nothing "wow". In fact, my cappuccino arrived lukewarm; Also, we ordered a ham and cheese toast and in general, it comes with 4 triangles of bread crumbs with ham and cheese, but here, they only serve you two triangles... It's a nice place and it's worth visiting just for that reason.

I thought I would find a well-maintained palace, but I didn't. I went to the croque madame on the balcony and due to the heat, I opted for the lounge. I have some criticisms: ambient music doesn't suit the place. There is no one to help with the elevator which is dark and old. Tourists who don't know about an elevator from the 1930s may need help, especially in the dark. The cafe attendant was friendly. However, for a place that requires appropriate and more formal clothing to enter, I expected more uniformity and formality among the attendants. Lots of conversation between them. We ordered the Te for two and everything was delicious. But nothing that makes me return to the place.

Beautiful historic room, correct table service, charisma and great food. We ordered a plate of grilled prawns and they brought us sautéed potatoes with some shrimp.
Prices for tourists. They do not honor the Argentine Army and do not allow an executive menu.
A disappointment. I won't be back again.

We tried twice to reserve a guided tour but all the different websites that we tried were useless. Totally user unfriendly. We tried calling one morning to confirm the tour hours. Nobody answered. So we then arrived on a Tuesday at the time indicated for a guided tour even though we hadn’t been able to make a reservation. We were told that there was an event that day and therefore no guided tours. The attendants at the door were totally rude, unfriendly and couldn’t have cared less. My recommendation: don’t bother. A total put off.

Hello, what are the hours for English tours this week? Thanks
Written 23 January 2019
Please check directly with Palacio Paz. We have gone on a Saturday. The woman that was our guide is the guide on a Youtube video. Very good tour! Please remember that January & February and part of March are vacation months for Argentina, so they might be shorter staffed. If they don't have a group tour, they might have private tour guide. If you are really interested, I would go and view the location, it is beautiful! If I remember correctly, they have handout material in english so that you can figure it out. Hope this was helpful!
