It is a small museum. As some reviewers have mentioned, it tends to focus on Judaism in general instead of life specific to Argentinian Jews, etc. They have self guided audio one can go online to listen to, but halfway through the tour the Wi-Fi...More

I visited both the synagogue and the museum. You will need photo ID to gain entry. There was a concert in the synagogue which did aid entry. The synagogue itself is a classic example of the 'cathedral' type of synagogue. The museum is modest in...More

We revisited this museum with some friends after seeing it 7 years ago and I was disappointed with the poor conditions of the museum. First - there is little English documentation to guide you through the museum and during the hottest days of summer -...More

We had a nice visit to the museum. Much of the museum seemed to cover Judaism in general and not necessarily the Argentinean community. There were certain tidbits throughout that were interesting, not to mention the visit to this beautiful synagogue and their presentation by...More

This site is a welcome change of pace for the wandering Jewish tourist grown weary from navigating what sometimes feels like a city full of pork empanadas. (Joke.) In all seriousness, you can come here for services and/or visit the museum, which exhibits Judaica from...More

The synagogue hosts Conciertos en Lbertad every Wed. at 1pm. I think this is a nice way of providing a service to the community. The performers were the same caliber as you would pay to see at Teatro Colon but without the costumes and sets....More

Museum was interesting, but nothing special. A a guide would have enhanced the experience. However, the Synagogue itself was spectacular. Highly recommend the trip.

The museum has nice collection, in 4-5 rooms and the synagogue. It´s a bit not worth of the price (6 euro).

San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the
footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area
of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the
true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down
streets lined with office buildings and banks. The
financial district is well-known for its vibrant
atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours.

I don't know where the cruise terminal is, so unfortunately I can not answer this directly. However, it is 1 block away from Teatro Colon, so perhaps you can use that as a reference point.
