Lots of photos displaying what took place during this sad period of Nazi Germany and world history . . . Six million innocent Jews killed, and only because they were Jewish. Also displayed are Nazi artifacts. Regrettably, I can’t read Spanish, so I could not read the information displayed.

The museum is housed in a masterfully preserved and recently renovated old building. The visit provides an immersion in the history and evolution of one of the darkest periods in human history. The displays are interactive allowing for in depth exploration of areas of particular interest and there are areas of reflection in order to process the experience. A highlight of the exhibit is an interactive room where visitors can ask questions to a survivor and hear and see the prerecorded answers. A most memorable experience.

We found this place by accident, just a reference to it in something we read. Six of us set off to find it -- it's not a bad walk from the Opera house.
This is a small but focused museum. We got help in English there. This educational exhibit is titled "Images of the Shoah: The Holocaust and its Impact in Argentina". There was a vibrant Jewish population in Europe before WWII. This exhibit covers both Eurpoean and Argentinian aspects. Jews started emigrating to Argentina in the late 1800s. But during the war anti-semitism was growing. And several Nazis found a permanent home after the war in Argentina .

This is an excellent museum dedicated to the holocaust. Many original artifacts. Would have been much better had there been someone who spoke English or if they had English subtitles on the exhibits. I recommend this in any case even if your Spanish is mediocre or nonexistent.

That's one of those places that you have to go if you are a history fan. Plenty of original material about the Holocaust can be found and it feels like you are part of the history for a while. Some activities like exhibitions and films are planned during the week. I do recommend a visit! Just be careful with the opening hours: from monday to thrusday (11am - 7pm) and on fridays from 11am to 4pm.

Well told and well curated museum dealing with the Dirty War and the murder and disappearance of government critics and dissidents. This could happen anywhere with the current disposition toward strong men and dictators and rightwing politics. Well worth a visit.

Very interesting museum. Being from Europe, we were really curious how the holocaust would be presented in an Argentinian museum.
On three floors you will be able to see photos, short films and read a lot of information. Many parts are done in an interactive way.
A part of the exposition is about Adolf Eichman and the interesting story of his capturing by Israeli Mosad.
The only thing, I would expect detail explanation of the fact that so many Nazis fled to Argentina. And maybe a little bit of self-reflection.

Not as good as the one in Washington, D. C . , but nice still. They have some interesting displays of life in Germany and Europe before the Holocaust.

Unfortunately our experience is solely from the perspective of not being able to understand 99.9% of the museum. Obviously, we would have learned much more if there would have been a guide in English or if some of the explanations for any of the items had been in English. The space itself seemed a bit rough, not well maintained and the exhibit seemed a bit stripped down... I got the feeling that there had been more to it but that items had been removed.

Buenoa Aires is a beautiful city, its architecture is very European, possibly due to the influence of France and the immigrants after the second war. Their food specializes in meats but you also find good pastas, few vegetables, perhaps because of the season. The hotels have good customer service and in general Argentines are friendly. Transportation is also well covered with metro, buses and taxis. The dollar exchange rate is very fluctuating and the exchange rate is very informal.
Our group found it expensive, both the food and the clothing, there are leather clothing products such as jackets that are not competitive in price compared to Colombia. Wine has a good price if bought in supermarkets.
