Frankly, this is not a very good touristy spot. The modern concert hall built in the 19th century building is strange, the ping-pong tables in the basement as well.

CCK is a hub of cultural activities, including art exhibitions and concerts in two exceptional concert halls. It is built inside the magnificent old central post office building. There is always something interesting going on. Events seem to be reasonably priced. Well worth a visit, and a concert.

The Centro Cultural Kirchner is definitely worth a visit while you're in Buenos Aires. It's within easy walking distance of other attractions (between Plaza de Mayo and Puerto Madero), and it's perfect for a short visit between other stops. The historical building has been beautifully restored, the main entrance hall with its high, stained glass ceiling is particularly impressive. Parts... More

Entered this massive neoclassical building not knowing what to expect exactly. I was impressed by the futurist architecture of the concert hall (from outside, it’s not clear if you can enter for visits inside) hanging in the middle of the central area and by the otherwise numerous architectural details of the building. A short visit just for this is justified.There... More

Had the chance to attend free concerts in different halls, both top level. The building is majestic, and its guides extremely friendly.

The former Post Palace in Buenos Aires has been transformed in a first class cultural attraction, with great exhibitions and, above all, the concert hall which is something really amazing. A modern architecture masterpiece - words are not enough to describe how special it is. The young staff - many of them are probably volunteers - are very kind, polite... More

I just was there because I was walking near the area. The place is amazing. The place still needed to finish some details in the construction. I hope those are completed by now...

Shakespeare and Borges readings by Norma Aleandro, great actress. We also attended a master class on Organ playing. All these were free, previous bookings online.
