Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We accidentally walked by this place late at night and wanted to check it out when it was open. The places was packed full of shops with antiques, brand new furniture, art, and you name it. I would highly recommend you visit and spend an hour or two wandering the stalls.

love this vintage market in the heart of bsas. Vastly superior to the touristy and crowded sunday san telmo market. yes, theres a lot of furnishings here which is hard to fit into your suitcase for the trip home. but there is also a plethora of collectible argentine pop culture from the last 75 years. all reasonably priced and staffed by knowledgable and kind vendors. went with my daughter and we both left with local treasures!

We love going there when we are in Buenos Aires. The large market has become nicer when the government moved the stalls from an open chaotic space to this installation.

The prices are better than what they would be in San Telmo; but some shops are acutely run by carpenters who make their own creations.

I came here years ago and found it quite magical then, bought a painting which I still love dearly, and my memory of the place was one of a huge bricabrac with character and treasures and unexpected finds.
Alas, things have changed (or have I?) but all there is now is a "formula" of a flea market, everybody sells the same and prices are quite high for a lot of junk.
I thought it was me who had grown out of the place but the bunch of friends I came with all had the same impression and didn't really find it all that interesting.
What a shame...

If I lived in Buenos Aires, I would've bought a few things for my home. Cool, unique pieces of furniture.
Some art.
Lots of junk, too.
While it officially opens at 10, I'd wait until late morning to go...since many vendors were still arriving when we left at noon.
Worth walking around for a while, but couldn't find anything to take home as a souvenir.

If you are someone who appreciates old things, this is a great place to wander around. I bought some vintage buttons, because buying anything larger than that was not practical for this traveler. It also offers various food to eat and beautiful vegetable and fruit stands. The empanadas were delicious and very cheap at 30-35 pesos each.

Pulgas in Spanish means 'flea', so this is the BA flea market. It is far better than the over-priced market that caters mostly to tourists in San Telmo.
Located in a revamped building on Dorrego Av. bordering Palermo Hollywood, you can find everything from old crystal chandeliers, old ornate doors, chairs, silver trophies.

A must if you like looking for wonderful used / old finds. Many stalls with a huge variety of stuff. Furniture, lamps, trinkets, records, nic-nacs, glassware.... something for everyone. We went on a Friday and most of the stalls were open. I think on the weekend, everything is open. If we had endless room to take things back home we would have bought a lot! Prices are a little cheaper than similar things in the USA but they have a lot of desirable pieces. Very fun. Takes several hours to go thru.

This was one of my favorite markets in Buenos Aires. It was great to walk through and see the classic and antique furniture and collectibles. We didn’t buy anything, but if we lived here, I could see coming regularly to this market for remodeling. Beautiful, retro furnishings, one-of-kind knick-knacks and most importantly, a wonderful place to take photos. The murals outside are also fantastic. Loved it.
