Top ways to experience Museo de la Pasion Boquense and nearby attractions

The area
Address
Neighbourhood: La Boca
A neighbourhood defined by its immigrant roots, La Boca still maintains this past alive in its streets today. Due to its proximity to the river, the neighbourhood became the preferred settling area for immigrants of a wide variety of origins, who ended up living together in the conventillos. Thus, these houses became a melting pot of different cultures and traditions that birthed creations like tango and lunfardo. Nowadays, this legacy can be seen and felt on Caminito Street, which welcomes visitors with colourful facades, cobblestones, and street artists showcasing their skills. Just like its neighbor San Telmo, La Boca is one of the prime destinations to experience the traditions and customs that originated from the city’s immigrant past and which have shaped its distinct identity.

Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The surroundings of the La Bombonera stadium, although simple, are full of life and with colorful and beautiful houses. The outside of the stadium also loves. But America's most successful team deserved a more attractive museum. The place is tiny and collection leaves to be desired. Looks like the place is more to praise Riquelme than the history of Boca. The day I went, the visit to the stadium was closed.

This was included in my tour of the stadium but may have been free if you just wanted to tour it. It houses the trophies for the Boca Juniors franchise, movies, memories, tributes to the biggest games and players. It's impressive! I'm not a huge soccer fan but still love the history here. You should definitely walk through while seeing the stadium.

I love visiting football stadiums. This is one of the best way to know the local culture. You can't miss the museum and tour. I joined the tour which said in English. The tour guide spoke mainly in Spanish. When she spoke in English, the introduction was shorter.

Ticket price is 90 pesos per person. Not bad as the museum has so good history of the club. You get to see all of the cups and statues of the most famous players (Maradona, Palermo, Roman) I wish there was more unique items and kit to see, but you do get to walk out into the stand and take a photo of the empty stadium so that was great too. The museum is closed on game days, I know because I made the mistake. Enjoy the history of one of the best clubs in the world. Real cool.

If you like football (soccer) this is a must go during your Buenos Aires visit - even if you`re not a Boca Juniors supporter. It is 5 minutes walk from Caminito, it is located inside the stadium, avoid going after sunset for security reasons. The guided tour is really nice to walk through the backstage and learn some folkloric stories about this team (be prepared to be provoked by the guide if you're not a Boca fan! hehe)

It's a must! This is the most iconic football team in the whole country. Try to combine the visit with a match to feel "La Bombonera" (the stadium)

The museum is beautiful, well organized , you can notice it done with affection, I must say that there is something that should be written on the page and in the entrance since many visitors are foreigners: my son was wearing a Belgrano de Córdoba shirt bought on a previous trip to Argentina, for this reason he could not enter the museum, luckily we were with another shirt in our bag, to finish those who are in the box finish: Further on it's from Belgrano. Such a situation should be in writing, I understand it was an archrival jersey but it was a nice jersey of a team little known to foreigners, also I found it discriminatory.

It's a tourist trap and scam, it costs $15 an entry, it lasts five minutes, you can't see the court, it's a scam

The museum is tiny, uninteresting. At the exit you find yourself in the shop but if you want to buy something you have to go out again and redo the queue. Absurd!
