Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The teachers were very good! It was a wonderful experience. Milonga City also arranged for a car to take us from our hotel to class and back.

Of all the things we did on our 10-day trip to Argentina, the Milonga Visit Excursion with Pablo and Mariana was our favorite! They were so attentive and really helped us feel comfortable in the milongas. There was no pressure to dance, but we were encouraged to do so if we wished, and we did. We had so much fun! We learned so much about the tango culture, but also about Argentine and Porteno life. After it was all over, we wanted to do it again, and hope we will be able to someday.

Pablo, good tango dancer himself as well, took us much longer then the deal was to a few miloga's. We had great fun dancing and it was a special experience to dance in the city of Tango... After that the ice was broken and we could find and visit some miloga's ourselfs. Nice deal if you like some guidance for the first miloga's or don't want to invest time in orienting where all the milonga's are.

Our tour, if you could call it that, with Milonga City was truly exceptional and exactly what we were looking for. It was more of a night out with a friend. Our guide Pablo was not only knowledgeable about the Tango but he is also a Tango dancer and a nice person with whom my wife and I enjoyed spending time. We visited to active contemporary Milongas , some that are frequented by young men and women in Buenos Aires and others that were frequented by families and locals of all ages. While there is a place in any visit to Buenos Aires for a Tango Show…..a visit to Milongas with Milonga City is a must.

We have been in BA twice in the last 2 years and each holiday we spent some time with Pablo for "tango" and Milonga experience. This year he organized some private lessons ( two ) near our hotel and we spent two evenings at 4 different Milongas. It gave us a chance to experience that very unique night life of Buenos Aires. We will go back for sure and spend more time with Pablo
of Milonga City.

This is the real deal! I wanted to see a milonga after having seen the Rojo Tango show the evening prior. My hotel arranged this tour for us and we were picked up at 10:30 by a well-spoken, well-dressed porteno. He informed us that we would be going to 2 different milongas that evening as each night only a few select milongas are open. The first milonga was on a darkened side street with no signage. After walking down a dark hallway and a set of stairs we were transported to an amazing spectacle…every bit as outstanding as the show we had seen. Here local tango dancers share the unique experience that is Argentinian Tango. We loved it. Turns out our guide is a professional tango instructor and in just a few minutes he taught me the basic steps. Enough so that I could actually join the fun…although these dancers are serious. At 1:30 we asked to go back to our hotel although we could have easily stayed out much longer if we wished. This private tour is professional and well worth the money. Don't miss this amazing experience to see the real tango.
