Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A friend in the US who knows Jewish Argentina recommended Salito Gutt and I couldn't have had a better guide or a better day. I was fortunate to be able to book a private full day tour. At all the places we went to, everyone knew Salito and warmly greeted him, which extended to me, as well. Salito is a wealth of knowledge about both the history and the current lives of Jews in Buenos Aires and Argentina. I couldn't see how we could cover all that he put in the description, but we did them fully and more. Throughout the day, Salito gave me a full course on the history of Jews in Buenos Aires and thoroughly and clearly described everything we saw. Even at lunch in the food court of the Abasto Mall, I learned the full history of the mall (which has a Mezuzah at the entrance) and detailed description of the Kosher MacDonald's, as well as the Jews who frequent it. I felt like I got a full semester of fascinating Jewish Buenos Aires and can't recommend Salito highly enough.

We were able to ask questions about the political situation which made it very interesting. The experiences of the community were a parallel to our ancestors.

We toured with Salito for half a day. He picked us up and showed us very interesting places and told his own stories about the ups and downs of Jewish life in Buenos Aires. The visit to AMIA and a Chabad-run synagogue gave us great insight into the community. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is curious about this community. He’s happy to answer any questions or customize the tour to accommodate any specific interests.

This was a fabulous comprehensive tour highlighting the most important and relevant facets of Jewish life in Buenos Aires, sal was a warm, informative guide who was very knowledgeable about Jewish life in BA. As a native Argentinian, he showed us hidden gems we would have never been able to see. The two terrorist memorials were very moving. We highly recommend Sal for your guide in BA,

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Jewish Buenos Aires given by Salito. He was so knowledgeable and offered interesting insights into the history of Jews in Argentina. He was warm, friendly, offering personal stories that made it feel more like a cousin or uncle was giving us the tour. We would highly recommend this tour and, particularly, Salito. Well worth the time and price.

On Wednesday, 30 November 2022, we had the pleasure and privilege of touring the Jewish neighborhoods of BA led by our expert, knowledgeable, and extremely personable tour guide, Salito Gutt. Salito was a wealth of information and shared many heart-warming stories of the area as well as sad stories that needed to be retold, "lest we forget". The tour included many historic Jewish sites, the AMIA, the very Orthodox synagogue where Salito had his Bar Mitzvah and where he still prays as an active member. Additionally, we toured the site where the Israeli Embassy was blown up and is now a memorial garden commemorating the lost lives of Jews and non-Jews. We, therefore, highly recommend Salito Gutt for your upcoming visit to BA. FYI, his fee for service is extremely reasonable and well worth it.

My family did the Jewish tour and BA City tour with Salito and it was wonderful. It was so meaningful for us because of the fact that Salito shared his own family's experience as Jews growing up in Buenos Aires. So it was like getting a tour from your Uncle from Argentina. Salito was on-time, personable, knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommended.

It was our dream to visit Buenos Aires and get acquainted with the life of Jewish Community, its history and today's activity. The tour was comprehensive, with lots of information. Salito took us to many places with Jewish features starting with an old synagogue, Jewish quarter, school, memorials and monuments. He spent 7 hours with us, picked us up from the hotel and brought us back as well.
Our dream came true, we have an idea about Jewish life in the capital of Argentina and it makes us proud and happy to find out that Jewish people live in peace there. We would recommend this tour to those who are interested.
