The Cathedral is on Plaza Moreno and is a modern building completed in 1932 with a gothic design. Its quite impressive and very tall.

The cathedral and its history is quite interesting, but don't pay the entrance fee to the museum or the elevator ride. The museum itself might be interesting, but for some reason they added exhibitions with modern art which kind of destroys the whole experience. As...More

Large and mighty from both inside and outside, it's a noble sight and one of the top things to see in La Plata. We drove there from the museum by taxi. Entrance is free.

Cathedral is famous for its ceremonial wedding of Eva Peron. It was nice cathedral and nice escape from Buenos Aires by bus.

It's a place that you can't miss here. The architecture is nice the tour inside is the best. You're going to learn a lot about the history and the view of the city in the top is amazing.

We did a rainy day trip to La Plata and this was a perfect rainy day experience. The cathedral was really beautiful and lovely. We were very impressed with the architecture and it has been well maintained. Nice!
