Like the other squares, a nice little green spot in Mendoza. If you're around, so stop by for a few minutes. I like Plaza Espana the best, but this one is quite atmospheric as well.

Central Mendoza is laid out with 4 small parks surrounding the Plaza Independencia. These smaller parks are very nice. There is plenty of shade. The Plaza Italia has a nice fountain. I recommended visiting all of the smaller plazas.

Normally this park/plaza would be a quiet space to relax and just enjoy the scenery and the people. My reason for the ecellent rating is that we were there for the 3 nights of Italia Festival. Thousand of people of all cultures, had to have...More

The plazas are central to social life in much of So. America. This was near our hotel, and my spouse and I were always intrigued walking through the plaza after our evening meal. People were out, kids were playing, dogs being walked, and music being...More
