Watching the tango show is a must on this visit. Right at the beginning of the show, the house announces that you will live an "experience" and that you should leave cell phones and camcorders aside. I recommend that you follow these guidelines. During the attraction, you are also served finger foods and unlimited drinks. If you are older, you will still receive a ticket to use at the casino.

We enjoyed dinner and the Show. pleasant environment! The waitress who served us was very helpful. The drinks were served as much as you want and the food was served as shown on the website. It's not fine dining, but it was very satisfying.

We bought premium tickets for 75 dollars each. We had an excellent meal in the main restaurant of the hotel. It was a set menu. The starter was roasted vegetables which were beautifully presented and delicious. There was a choice of three main courses. We had the sirloin steak and the fish which were both very tasty and good sized portions. There was also a vegetarian option. There was a choice of two deserts which were also very good. We are not big drinkers but there was no problem about replenishing the drinks. We ordered tea, which we were told would be extra but were not charged, presumably because of not having that much to drink.
There was less than an hour available if you wanted to play in the casino.
The show was great with dancers, singers and band of the highest quality. The only pity was that the perfomers outnumbered the audience (who enthusiastically tried to make up for lack of numbers). The show deserved better.
If you have the opportunity, do not miss.

Fortunately the show, orchestra, dancers and singers were amazing and beyond my expectations I would not hesitate to book the show. BUT.., do not be fooled by the ‘top theatre venue, it is not a theatre at all but a multi use room with a stage. DO NOT book for the dinner and do not be fooled by the free drinks, they only offer chardonnay wine, beer, or soft drinks and then only give you a very small amount and make you feel very bad for asking for another. iI don't drink wine and asked for a gin and tonic, this was not allowed and I was told I would have to pay for it. The dining room is adjacent to,the lobby and has two televisions screens behind the bar and another large one at the far end. The tables had no cloths and we were expected to sit in 2’s but fortunately we were near enough to our 2 friends to insist the tables were put together. I am vegetarian through allergy and have to be cautious. The meal was at the best unpleasant and the drinks were meagre.. I would recommend the tango show, it truly was incredible but the hotel and dinner I would give a great big miss. If you do go and pay $75.00 beware of an additional 15% tax that no one could explain and we booked through our tour agent!

Too bad. Very much so. The food is unrealistically bad. They sell a 6-course dinner but in reality they are tiny portions of inedible food. There are no cutlery, but wooden chopsticks. Meat is already cut into cubes with “vegetables” which were a sliver of pumpkin and two strips of potato sticks that I don't know if they were cooked or roasted, because I didn't have the courage to eat them. The horrible red wine! Terrible dessert! What saved the night was the show, which despite not being a traditional tango, was beautiful. The amount charged is not worth it.

The show is very interesting, but the dinner service is HORRIBLE. I bought the package for 130 euros per person, which includes unlimited drinks and dinner, for me and my boyfriend. However, when I got there, I was informed that I would have to pay for the drinks extra, as they were not included. After seeing another table with the same problem, I asked and was informed that my package actually included drinks - that is, if I wasn't going to claim, I would have paid for the drinks separately even after the cost of more than 800 reais per person .
Furthermore, the service is terrible, taking more than 30 minutes to order a glass of water, a problem that affected other tables as well. A man at the next table even got angry and caused a scandal, ruining everyone's experience due to the horrible service. The 7 dinner steps were often brought together, 2 at a time, which meant that some of the dishes were already cold when we were about to eat.
This is not what you expect with the price of 800 reais per person for dinner + show. I'm very sorry for wasting my money on this terrible experience, which detracts from the show, which is super interesting, with talented dancers.
My advice is: if you go to Madero Tango, pay for the cheapest package and have dinner elsewhere.

I booked the Madero Tango show including the Petisco rotation. Initially, we were taken to taste the dishes served with wine, beer, soft drinks and water included. The dishes are offered in 6 courses: 4 hot and two sweet. Initially, there was a vegetable cream and empanadas; then spinach meatballs with cream and meat cubes. All these dishes were not good. Anyone expecting to eat delicious Argentine meat will be disappointed. The wine offered cost around 29 reais in Brazil. It is important to highlight that these dishes can be repeated countless times. Then the Show takes place (in our view the only good thing of the night). The show is very beautiful. It would have been enough if we had gone for it, without paying for the snacks. When the Show ends, we are directed to the Casino: a horrible place for those with allergies, as smoking is allowed in the enclosed carpeted area. I wouldn't repeat it. I much prefer El Quincho del Tio Querido, which is just a few meters away, where you pay much less than what you would pay to watch Tango Madero. To give you an idea, at Tango Madero the cost was just over R$700 reais per couple, while at Tio Querido, I paid a little less than half for 3 steaks (2 Chorizo and an ojo de Bife); gnocchi, DV Catena wine and water! Conclusion: I don't recommend it.

Very expensive price for a horrible “dinner”. Initially because there is no dinner, but rather small portions of starters served over a certain period of time. Not worth the price charged. I do not recommend

It's not worth the price it takes. The VIP is in the penultimate queue and that's not said anywhere. If you expect Argentine food, do not go, it is disappointing the sequence they offer. One water costs today's values, just R$25,00. They charge a lot for the nothing they offer. The worst thing is that it is already disappointing on arrival with a border fuzzy, time-consuming and full of “smart kids”. I recommend spending money for Brazil itself. There is tango in Brazil better, cheaper and with much better cuisine.
