Awesome golf course - friendly staff. Course was in great shape and the price was even better. They have a special golf package - 18 holes and a steak dinner, can't beat that.

This is a pleasant course to play to build your confidence. It is very forgiving as the hazards can be avoided on many holes. You don't have to be a target golfer to play here. The staff is friendly and you get off on time. I think you will enjoy the course as it won't beat you up!

We were extremely disappointed in our visit. We had to wait a long time each time we ordered something, the prices on the menu were deceptively listed with the intent that you would assume the item was less expensive, or they put it in such tiny print at the bottom of the page that you couldn't read it, happy hour... Painted Mountain Golf Resort is also a Timeshare. I have no info on their Time Share other than I have played Golf with Guests who have stayed there and they have had good comments about the Facility. This Course is reasonable close to our home in Mesa, so I do enjoy a membership there and I play it quite often.... More

We played here in March 2015. We were disappointed. The course is very short and houses are in play off the tee. There was a sign on the 3rd tee box saying if you hit someone or a house with a ball you were liable. My suggestion is to hit an iron off the tee or golf with a good... More

I had played Painted Mountain a couple of years ago and did not go back because the course was in such bad shape and play was so slow. I was told that the course was in better shape so we played it in early March, 2015. And yes it is in better shape - excellent greens and nice fairways. If... More

We are not golfers so I am not reviewing the course. I am however reviewing the restaurant and lounge. The food comes hot and portions are very ample. Happy hour 2-6 daily offers $3.00 off appetizers which range from 10.95 to 7.95. They are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. If you sit by the window you have a nice... More

The course is older and has challenges with houses in play on most holes. Used to be a John Jacobs Golf School course but they took out the ranges and 9 hole executive course 5 years or so ago and filled in with houses. Shots better be straight rather than long or you will get into trouble. Fairways cut very... More

This golf course is a fairly typical 'resort' course. It is cheap and there are only a few hazards so it is not overly challenging; some holes are fairly tight with housing so if you tend to 'spray' the ball you could have trouble. There is no driving range so several golfers arrive at the first tee cold and proceed... More

If you like to play golf and you appreciate excellent greens. This is where to play. Painted Mountain is a very nice course to play. It does give you a lot for your money. Driver on every par 4 is not needed if you can hit long irons. The layout of this course is nice. A long par five to... More
