Do this trip if you want a genuine Argentinian experience! We were in doubt, after reading a couple of bad reviews, on going ahead with this trip. That doubt increased a bit more when we were waiting for a while for our pick up at the hotel. Then David shows up and explains that is was mothers day yesterday and... More

My fiancee and I have just returned from the half day trip with Parilla, and in 6 months travelling round the world this is the first time I have felt the need to leave a negative review. After reading all the positive reviews we booked the trip through our hostel via an advertised leaflet. Cost was 700 pesos each (roughly... More

We had fun, plain and simple. One of the owners picked us up from our hotel (we thought he was very late, he thought he was right on time, an issue with the tourism agent, not this service - so verify the time), drove us out to the ranch, a beautiful setting in the countryside. We had a lovely time... More

It was great in a way that we were on a horse for two hours and a half and having a nice bbq in a beautiful place. Well worth it.

My boyfriend and I just got back from a half day trip and loved it! William picked us up from our hostel in Salta at 10am and we drove to the ranch. There was 5 of us in the group that went out riding and we all had little to no experience. The walk itself was lovely and if you... More

It was a nice enough day out but 6 hours in total for only 1.5 hours in the saddle! I was picked up around 10am and we finally got on the horses about 12.15. The ranch is only 40 mins from Salta! The ranch is a pretty ramshackle place...I was imagining an extensive ranch not this small little building. I... More

I went on a half a day horseriding tour with "Cabalgatas Gauchas" in Salta and I really enjoyed it. Nice scenery, great BBQ, super-friendly guide... English spoken...No previous riding experience necessary.....

We enjoyed our half day horseriding much more than we anticipated. Our group was led by a boisterous gaucho who was entertaining to be around. The horses were well trained and well cared for, our hats were a little dated but everything else was fine. The scenery during the trek was beautiful and some parts of the track were quite... More

I opted to do the full day of horse riding, then stay on the ranch. This was a truly special experience, the highlight of our trip so far. The horses were really well trained, which, for an amateur horserider, was key! The guide was fantastic, speaks great english and made it a really fun trip! The scenery was beautiful, and... More
