I’ve been to many cathedrals but this is the first I spent a significant time in. The atmosphere is mint, personally I think this made me feel a bit different about religion everyone is so dedicated there, it’s not the biggest cathedral by any means....More

Lovely coloured cathedral from the outside even more impressive from the inside. Please note it is often closed in the afternoon. Be respectful when you enter, photos are not allowed during mass for sure but you are allowed to enter and walk around.

An absolutely beautiful church is the Cathedral of Salta. Salta is worth a visit just to see this masterwork on Parque Central. The place makes me proud to have grown up a Catholic - even if I am just an Irish Catholic. Thanks Spain.
