We loved having the freedom of doing the circuito in a rental car rather than joining a tour group. We found some great stops along the ways to enjoy the beautiful views. A must do when in Bariloche!

Take the local bus to Llao Llao and enjoy the walks through the national parks. Get yourself a Sube card and take linea 20 for a cheap day out exploring

We took this drive upon our arrival. We were very impressed with the scenery. Nice and easy drive, it takes about 3 hours with stopping along the way to take photos and take in the views.

We drove the circuit with stops for photo views and a hike. We found the scenery spectacular and the hike through the forest relaxing.

We drove the circuit twice while in Bariloche and went on a number of short hikes. Very enjoyable. Just a warning, a woman from our B & B fell off her bike while cycling on the circuit. Bike riders have to drive on the gravel...More

It was a challenging ride, with many ups and downs, but beautiful. Our day was a bit more difficult due to high winds. The stops had wonderful vistas.

The circuit is not that long but with panoramic views and beautiful walks to be enjoyed. Not the wildlife I hoped to see though but essential viewing.

This drive has a number of places to stop and take a hike. Do them all. Also, make sure and stop at Patagonia brewery...beautiful grounds.

This circuit can take 2 - 4 hours depending on how often you stop and if you want to do some quick walks. We took the chairlift up Cerro Campanario (or you can take a steep 60 min. hike) for stunning panoramic views.

Going clockwise and the best viewpoint is already after a few km. The last part is a bit boring. So not miss the small woorden church on a Hill, halfway.

I agree. The local bus to Llao Llao, and there, to rent a bike. The whole round trip is a little bit tough for a 50 years old guy like me (4 hrs, and many hills), but if you start clockwise, you get to a great panoramic... More
