We went to Cerro Catedral today, bus ride from central bus station was 35 mins (bus number 55), the route was beautiful, full of yellow flowers blossoming, apart from that, nothing really special when we reached there as all the shops were closed (not sure about it's summer time nor it's public holiday today...) The cable car + ski lift... More

While visiting Bariloche for my honeymoon in August 2016, I took a ski lesson in English with Franco. I am a beginner skier with no athletic background, so I was very nervous about skiing. Franco was an excellent instructor and his English was impeccable. He was very patient as I learned all the basics. After my lesson, I was confident... More

The experience of skiing while our friends and neighbors were sweltering at home in New York was a great thrill. However when we arrived the snow was very thin and the skiing was not great. We had to walk down the last 300 meters of the mountain. Fortunately it started snowing and continued to snow throughout our stay and the... More

The place is huge and well prepared to receive lots of people. Toilets were clean and the stuff was very polite and helpful.

We were at the cerro catedral on the middle of October. There was not much snow left, however there were two open lifts. We went up the mountain and we found snow and activities for kids and adults, like donas (inflatable tires) and snow sleds. Total fun for the entire Family.

Cerro Catedral its a nice ski center not to be compared with Courchevel in France, Vail in the USA or Whistler in Canada for skiing in our summer its really nice for me the better months t go its late July and august, great food in the mountain.

Snow in September was surprising for us northern folk even when we remembered the geography of Bariloche. And sadly, the snow was disappearing quite rapidly. We did not go there to ski, but to enjoy the magical views. Yet it was obvious that many trails were bare and closed. It was most enjoyable at the mountain top. Places to relax... More

We took the bus from San Carlos De Bariloche to the ski resort and back for 3 days. YOu can pay on the bus or purchase a 'sube' card and load it with the dollar amount needed. We were told that the bus was $28 AR pesos per person each way. The card itself was $35 pesos, so check the... More

Obviously being a ski resort this is the best place for snow activities. It's also amazing just to hang out for the day, my partner and I spent the morning riding the ski lifts to different destinations along the mountains and it was a beautiful day! we spent the afternoon doing a snowboard lesson and it was also fantastic. This... More
