Cerro Otto is the "smaller" one of the surrounding mountains. However, a beautiful escape for a 1 day trip from San Carlos de Bariloche. You can easily travel by local bus and enjoy a laid-back day at the restaurant on top by enjoying the view!

The bar at the top is the best attraction. The snow rides are a little bit dated. Could have much more than it has with entertainment purpuses.

400 pesos per adult and freezing indoors place. Restaurant had a 10 families queue. Does not recommend unless you had a pre-booked reservation. Other than that, don't waste your time. Also available some "ski-bunda" tracks for young kids. Cheers!

You can get to cerro Otto by taking the bus from the city center. It`s about 20 USD, and the lift is included. The views at the top are amazing. You can have something to drink at the top bar/cafe.

We drove half way up to the area and then walked to the cable car station at the top. The walk was lovely but quite steep, but worth it because of the views. Unfortunately when we got to the top, we were told we would...More
