The fun is in the ride. The boat trip is beautiful. The lake is huge and smooth with greenery all around. You spend about two hours on the water. Go if you have a chance.

We were dropped off at a port on this lovely island for almost two hours as part of a tour on the Modesta Victoria, a charming boat built in 1937. Apparently, we were the only English-only speakers on the boat, and so one of the guides gave us tips on how best to use our time on the island. So... More

None of the walking tracks are clearly marked. Some were closed off. Everyone told us the chairlift is a site to see and was working, when there it was obvious it hadn't been working in years. Rubbish everywhere around it. Many derelict buildings which were apparently meant to be museums. Tour was advertised as bilingual, was only in Spanish. Massive... More

The boat trip only gave us an hour to hike. Beautiful island that was a training base for the argentine park service. You can camp here if you get approval from park service. Requires entry fee to come to island. Would not be good on rainy day.

We visited Isla Victoria with an operator called CAU CAU. We did it by boat (tour "lacustre" in Spanish). We boarded at Puerto Pañuelos. Very nice, organized and well kept. The boat as well was in great condition. We selected the VIP cabin (it was worth the extra money since they served good quality food throughout the entire trip -... More

Isla Victoria is mainly a pine and sequoia forest with a nice wide beach where you can walk around and see nice lakeside views. No need to spend the time traveling by boat too (no roads there, as its an island). Only go if you're seeking remoteness and want to enjoy pine forests and views like in Maine USA or... More

Loved the lunch spot. Wild life was everywhere, the scenery was great. The pavilion for lunch and the warming fire was nostalgic and warm.

Great way to spend a day in the lake, take the boat tour to isla victoria and arrayanes. Fantastic nature and a lot of new trees and species to learn about.

Paid a lot of good money to sale to Isla Victoria. Not a lot to do there but see some trees. The shop ride is exciting at first but exhausting later when you have to wait 2 hours to get back

Breathtakingly beautiful. Did on a bike tour (Cordillera Bike Co.) wild unspoiled beauty and nature, every direction is a new view.
