If you are coming to Ushuaia you need to take a boat trip to the canal, the area is incredible beautiful and you should give yourself at least some days to explore it. We went with the company Tres Marias when we did the boat tour, it is worth it.

There are many tours to visit the Canal and it is a MUST if you are in Ushuaia!!! The view is beautiful and the marine life amazing. Be sure to bring a windbreaker and gloves at least. We came here in Spring and it was still chilly.

My boyfriend and I arrived in Ushuaia on a gorgeous sunny day with barely any wind and the hotel staff mentioned we should go on the boat tour as the conditions are perfect. The 3pm was booked however we were able to go on the 7pm tour with Patagonia Adventure Explorers it was great as there were less people than... More

Excellent any day activity for seeing sea lions and birds on their rocks. Take a guided boat you tour (we used Patagonia Adventure Explorers and were very happy) which will cost you about $1100 per person for four hours. On a calm day the boats are very stable.

I didn't expect too much with the tour however I was totally wrong!! We had a wonderful time with El Che people! The tour started at 3pm and we came back at around 7pm, we saw plenty of sea lions, fur seals, king and imperial cormorants, of coz Les Eclaireurs light house! Though we are not Spanish speakers, the guide... More

read the reiews and thought it maybe was exaggerated but.....really worth the trip. We did a 2.5h trip which was enough time - we got to see the wildlife, the scenery and get a walk on a small island. It was wonderful

Went on the Canal Beagle tour including visits to see the sealions, penguins and the famous lighthouse. The boat got really close, so you could watch the little creatures for about 10-15 min and take pictures. Also get off at Estancia Haberton for a few hours - it is a very informative tour with knowledgable, friendly guides. On the busride... More
