Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We left Banus on the waterfall axis. It is the third focus in a row of three similar attractions. Nice but the alternatives are more interesting and longer. An excellent site for short periods of time or rain that you are not prepared for the weather

Fun ride across & back. I suggest having someone take a photo of you from atop the building. Great effect!
There's a zip line next to this. Its fun but beware as it can leave you stuck hanging over the canyon. 😳

This impressive waterfall fall can be found on the way towards The Devil's Cauldron. It isn't easy to miss as it stands out in its impressive size. From the road side you can get great views and you also have the opportunity to ride the cable car across the valley.

Did the tarabita across and back on a rainy day for a couple dollars each, it was scary but really cool! Hold on to your hats! Arrived from Banos in a taxi doing our own waterfall route, it was super easy.

The mantle of the bride are two waterfalls located in the city of Baños in the province of Tungurahua before reaching the Rio Verde. This waterfall is very visible from the road and has two waterfalls very similar to the mantle of a bride.

The Manto de la Novia waterfall is approximately 40 meters high with a single fall. The water is transparent, with a temperature of 10º Celsius and is characterized by exuberant tropical vegetation, flora such as chontaduro, mosses, ferns, orchids and fauna. This is a wonderful landscape, where you can see a lot of birds that sit on the rocks differentiated by their size, color and species, also among the fauna of the area you can see the spectacled bear and birds like the duck and seagull. On the other hand, One of the main attractions of this place is the Tarabita; which is a form of transport that makes you pass meters from the waterfall and completely crosses the Pastaza River.

I recommend this place because it is a wonderful casacada and it is the only one in the country that is located in the urban area. You can also enjoy beautiful landscapes and perform various activities.

I enjoyed the tarabita ride all the way, once you get to the other side tough, that trail is forgotten, not clean, and to get back since a lot of people only choose to get to the other side and comeback you loose about 1 hour of there is people trying to comeback, ride is awesome, however choose only back and forth don’t get off!

I've never been a risk taker, but was on vacation and thought "why not?". Paid my $2.00 and off I went. It felt like pure freedom as the wind hit you in the face and you went over the waterfall! I would recommend this to everyone!

I was as amazed at the diesel engine moving the teleferico as the waterfall itself. The coolest view for me was after we crossed the waterfall and were heading back to the gorge. The video of us coming back over the waterfall is very cool.

Great to take the cabled basket across and then hike back over and up. The hike isn't bad and you can take your time. Totally worth it for the great views!
