It was great seeing the markets. It was burnt down but it's up and running again. The prices of things are cheap. You get a lot of little kids coming up to you selling things and If you say no they give you a sad face and still hang around until you buy from them so if this happens just... More

A nice colourful place to visit to buy souvenirs. Prices are pretty standard throughout the market. For me, it lacked the hussle and bustle of a great market but was certainly nice to stroll through. Stall holders did not hassle you.

great place to buy souvenirs, fabric and trinkets to take home as a memory of your trip. Prices are good and do not change much even when the cruise ship comes in

If your steps lead you to Apia, visiting the market is a must. Maybe the feeling is not as Samoan pure as in the Salelolonga one, because this receives more visitors, however you can try a wide variety of local fruit, vegetables, fish, at really affordable prices. You can delight yourself admiring samoan necklaces, bracelets, clothing... this is definetly the... More

As the subject says if you want a Samoan souvenir this the place to go. Cloth, shirts etc all available at reasonable tourist prices. It's near to cafes and other places to eat but you can try the local fare as well. It is all cash and if you go on weekend all the money exchanges shut by 1230.
