Continuing my quest to golf all the PHX metro area courses. I had always seen many adds for this course, so I hit it up at a good price. Don't expect any frills. It was easy to find and parking was easy enough, but there was no bag drop. No beverage cart and no licence for Bloody Marys... I brought... More

Fairways and greens are OK, rough was all crabgrass if it wasn't bare dirt. Ball washers had no water, no cart girl. Play it if you can get a good deal, otherwise play Aguila, just down the road.

We have been playing this club for several years, sort of a warm up prior to the more challenging golf courses, and it is showing some nice improvements. Maybe the recent rains the valley has had explains the better shape, but whatever, the majority of the fairways were solid and the tee blocks were green. The greens were in an... More

I played there today and was taken back by the conditions of the greens on the front 9. They lost them. Bare dirt and when I asked they stated they have a fungus. Wish I would have known before I booked my tee time. They seem to be losing the back nine also. How about a heads up.

I went this morning for breakfast and was very pleasantly surprised. There really is not a lot of choices in Laveen for breakfast. It's nothing spectacular but the food was very good came out hot and there was a lot of it. You have a nice view of the golf course, you can sit inside or outside. It was a... More

Very suitable gold course for the folks in southwest valley. The overall conditions of the course have improved tremendously with the new owners. The staffs are always friendly, please speak to the owner from Calgary he is very pleasant and fun. The greens have proved the most the best I ever seen in past five years.

This is not a bad starter course if you're coming to town and haven't played since last fall. The layout, through long, is wide open and allows for a bit of spray. The fairways are green, the roughs are clean and it's easy to find errant hits. The greens are in terrific shape, not that they would hold bump and... More
