Visited while we were in town staying with family. I was very surprised at how close you can get to the animals. We have been to zoo's all over the world and there is nothing worse than only being able to see a handful of the animals because they're not on display or they are in their dens or whatever.... Small but really nice. Took my parents and they liked it too we will go back for a picnic. They do not sell food just pop and water in vending machines.

We've been a few times, the animals stay mostly the same, still fun and interesting to vierw them. Signage on cages is quite good, lots of useful info. We take our time, read a lot, and average about an hour per visit.

This is a great location to start with, right on top of a hill giving you agreat view all around as well as a cooling breeze. The zoo itself will take about an hour or two depending on your pace. Th e difference here is this is a rescue zoo. The animals have been rescued frome around the are with... More

We had our grand kids (3 and 1.5) for a week and decided the zoo for an outing and were very happy. Enough animals to see and a nice walk up and down the hills. The playground was also a big hit with the kids.

This zoo is a sanctuary for animals that have no where else to go due to injury, homelessness and other reasons. It is great for the whole family. There is a play area for children and picnic pavillion so you can bring a picnic for the zoo. The animals have great enclosures and are well cared for. My grandsons loved... More

The kids enjoyed this zoo in Prescott. They have quite a variety of animals to see. My children especially enjoyed watching them feed the black bear and playing on the playground after our visit.

Very rustic zoo with wide assortment of animals including rescued local animals. Not your fancy bells and whistles zoo, but you get up close and personal with the critters.

I appreciate the fact that this is s place for injured and misplaced animals who cannot survive in the wild. It is a wonderful thing for humans to intervene and give them medical care and a forever home. This zoo is small and uncrowded, only 10$ entrance and you can take your time. Get there early before the animals all... More
