Went to Horseshoe Park to take photos of the cowboy shooting contest. Had a lot of fun just watching these cowboys riding and shooting at the same time. While there I had two of my cowboy hats repaired and bought a new cowboy hat for my wife and one more for myself. Lots of fun for adults and children.

This is a huge, lovely facility dedicated to all things equestrian. Also used for car shows, home shows, concerts and weddings, as well as numerous events, this is a beautiful, versatile addition to the community. Watch for the annual Roots n Boots rodeo - an event held over several days in conjunction with carnival rides and vendors. The event has... More

I love Horseshoe Park! They have a public arena, and several round pens for public use. The footing is excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have been doing alot of road improvements on Riggs, which will really help as well. The events in my opinion are world class - It is awesome to watch some of the... More

We went here for the Roots and Boots Rodeo and it was great fun! Parking was a breeze (Paid $5 or $10 to park) and the event was $8 per person. They had food trucks on the grounds which was a pleasant surprise! The rodeo was fun for families and adults! I can't wait to go to another rodeo here!

I've been to the last 2 "Roots N Boots" rodeos and they are a lot a fun. The contestants come from all over America to compete here.

There is a lot to do and see here. However, we came primarily for the rodeo and weren't disappointed. Barrel racing, roping, bull riding, bronco and more. We had box seats which we liked because it gave me some freedom to move around and photograph from ground level. Like any rodeo, there can be gaps between events and even between... More

It was so nice to have this venue close to home. Everything we needed right in our own backyard. Nice facilities and easy access.

Great show facility, close to home, instead of having to drive to north Scottsdale. Loved seeing the Budweiser Clydesdales there

I know nothing about horses or rodeos but enjoyed watching the competitions, though they are a little slow and boring with long waits between competitors. Still, it was interesting. Sort of a Fair atmosphere outside the arena with rides for the kids and expensive junk food and trinkets for sale. Loved seeing the beautiful horses and real cowboys though.

The facility handled the large amount of rain well. The grounds drained well and everyone was able to come and go at the mounted shooting competition as usual after the rain stopped.
