This brought back memories of my air force days!! having a real launch commander give the tour and tell us how it really was made it all the more exciting. I just wish that the day I was there it wouldn't of been 40mph winds!!!

This is a very informative and inexpensive tour. It doesn't take a long time, but leave yourself at least a couple of hours. Most of it is indoors so it can be done even if the weather is a little cool.

I have visited the Titan Missile Museum twice and will continue to bring visitors to see it. The museum and its skilled guides tell a fascinating story of history, and the story is made all the more real because you can view the actual missile...More

This museum is a must see for everyone. It's interesting but very sobering what has been in the past and still seems relevant today. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and serious about the importance of this museum.

Another must see when in Tucson, just outside of Green Valley. Wonderful walking tour of the missile silo and making you feel what it must have felt like many years ago.

We all have seen and heard about the missiles that will end the world. The Titan II retaliatory missiles were destroyed as a part of the anti nuclear proliferation treaties and as part of that agreement the US requested that ONE missile be kept in...More

Fascinating to see the missile and command center up close. Hair raising to imagine working down there, knowing if you ever heard the alarms and launch order that you would probably never leave the silo. We ask a lot of our military personnel, then and...More

Having lived in another country, up until 5 years ago, during the 60's we did not know or hear too much about the Cold War, so this visit to the Museum was fascinating, and so very informative. The thought of how, at the turn of...More

Don't miss this lesson in our recent history, you can look back to a period when the world was on the brink of self destruction. Not only was the Tucson area ringed with Nuclear missile silos, but there were many active sites around the U.S.

Yes, there is an elevator for those who have trouble negotiating stairs. It takes you down to the control room level and they bring you back up too!
