We fell in love with the desert after staying at a hotel originally designed by Frank Lloyd Wright's protege, John Lautner, so it was only fitting that we spent some time with the original. We loved the tour. Incredibly informative and a beautiful space. As silly as this may sound, we really enjoyed being able to sit in the space... More

The tour of this facility well designed. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the facility and the life of Frank Lloyd Wright. It is in a beautiful location and has a wonderful gift shop. The tours go on time and are easy to access.

We have been to Taliesin, Falling Water, the Guggenheim Museum and some other Frank Lloyd Wright properties. If in Scottsdale, this is well worth the time if you are a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright, which I am. The guides all seem to be very knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed our visit.

This was my third trip to Taliesin West, and it never fails to disappoint. While you can see that the structures were not truly built to stand the test of time, it is a nice historical look into the experimental architectural styles that Wright promoted. If you go during the week, you will likely have a more intimate, smaller tour... More

Taliesin West has been designated as a National Monument Site and has applied for designation as a World Heritage Site. Frank Lloyd Wright was the first architect who believed in a democratic style of architecture. No longer was it necessary to copy European building. His work challenges the intellect of every visitor. What a unique destination!

Admittedly, I'm a huge fan of FLW. So, Taliesin West would have to really mess up to get anything less than 5 stars! So cool to see where one of the world's greatest architects had his winter home and school. I highly encourage everyone to go visit. I've been several times and learn something new every time. The staff is... More

Our tour guide, Myrna, was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a clear picture of Frank Lloyd Wright; his thinking, the way he worked, his home life. The tour started at the beginning; how he envisioned his retreat carved out of the mountains and followed all the steps of his accomplishments up to his death. The tour was... More

My nephew who is an architect wanted to check out Taliesin West while we were in Scottsdale for a wedding. I didn't know much about Frank Lloyd Wright so I figured it would be fun to go see something of his and learn about his history. Taliesin West is about a 20 minute drive from where we were staying (the... More
