With 36 holes of championship golf, Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona offers one of the most spectacular golf experiences in the Southwest - just as you would expect at one of the country's most decorated resorts. The Padre Golf Course in Scottsdale features towering trees, subtle landforms and impressive bunkering to sharpen your game. This 6,903-yard, par 72 design is known for its strategic layout, challenging water holes, and had its 18th hole voted the best water hole in the state by Arizona Golf Magazine. Ambiente will present a distinct challenge where accuracy and a good strategy command the day, as every hole will force even the best players to focus on each and every shot. Golfers will find the eye-catching elevation changes, as well as rolling fairways with significant drops throughout the course, are among its most striking features. The Ambiente Golf Course was recently renovated and in excellent playing condition. The fairways are narrow and long with many waste areas and water hazards. This is not a course for beginners and demands the skills of target golf to score well.

Great course, one of the few that was not overseeded. Pristine fairways, greens ran true, reasonably priced. WE would definitely play here again.

I found this course more challenging and less playable that Wildfire. More frequent access to potable water or the beverage cart would be helpful. Also, no clubhouse turn after nine, so eat before you tee-off!
