Nicest dog parks we have ever seen

The City of Scottsdale has the best park system anywhere and the dog park is no exception. Very well maintained and lots of dogs.

Take your dog and join the dog-fest. It is a wonderful way for the pooch to get out and run and enjoy other pooches.

I have been here 3 times last week. 4th of July weekend was pretty dead so empty park. My Great Pyr is more interested in sniffing than socializing so it does not matter to him. Great for me because parks are fenced with high fence. Water fountains but water is hot in July. Recommend to bring ice water and a... More

Great Dog Park consisting of three large fenced areas. One section is always closed for repair and it is on a rotating basis. One park for small dogs, puppies and those with a disability. The other is for larger dogs who like to run, chase balls and interact with others. Occasionally, a fool will bring an aggressive dog into the... More

I made my first visit to the Chaparral Dog Park - The Gold Standard of Dog Parks, this week. It was recommended by friends and it is everything a dog park should be, except a little overcrowded! Great areas for your pup to run, and socialize!

Very nice park close to home. Two separate areas for timid and active dogs. Closed a couple mornings for maintenance. Please pick up after your dog!

We've been coming to this dog park for several years and it is one of the best we have experienced. They have a passive and active fenced area. Worth a visit if you are in Scottsdale. It's located on Indian Bend Wash

For those living without backyards,it is good to have somewhere to go with your pet. We found some people do not pick up after their dogs if the occasion calls for it.

There is a large dog park but the botanical garde behind it is worthwhile to walk through. The boards display explanations of how the garden system works. Many good ideas for watersaving.

This is a great place to bring your adult dog for 30 min to 1 hour of dog on dog play time. On any given night there are from 10 to 40 dogs in the active dog area, and a smaller number in the passive dog area (great for small/tiny dogs). The dog park is open to 10PM, at which... More
