Champions course

Staff were all very nice & friendly & took care of your clubs from vehicle to cart as should be at a professional course such as this one. Course was tremendous & fun to play! Private jets fly over every ~5 minutes to the local private airport & they fly so close you may could hit them with your golf ball...for me it was a cool experience & didn’t interfere with golf game. However, for being such a prestigious course, I didn’t realize the amount of partying!! Def a bachelor party spot, as guys were puking on the fairways & standing on top of the carts, it was crazy!! But, what can I say, they were having fun, just def unexpected. They do have water stations every 3 holes which was very much needed for desert golf & we appreciated it! Will be back to play stadium course.

Not worth the money nor the stress
May 2021
Between all of the maintenance workers continue to work during play (and without helmets!) and all of the planes flying overhead (executive airport is apparently directly beyond the course) it was not a relaxing golf outing and it is not an inexpensive course. With all of the other choices in the area, we won't be back.

Great time at TPC
Mar 2021
Really happy with the service and facilities. Anyone who is complaining about the cost should consider supply/demand and realize a limited amount of golfers can enjoy the course and practice areas and the cost reflects this.

That said, they sent me a "thank you" a day before my tee time which is ridiculous, and the practice tees have at times been dangerously close together. I'm assuming an IT glitch and a newbie setting out the tee markers. Either way, get it together, Troon is crushing you with better service and facilities.

Beautiful golf course. In really good shape and the course was manicured very well. My favorite part is the open air bar / dinning area just off the 9th green. On a beautiful day, with a golf tourney on t.v. this was heaven traveling from frigid Minnesota.

12 year old member $45 dollars to practice for ~40 minutes. 12 year old maybe hit 40 balls on the range.

Let kids who have a membership post covid practice at a reasonable rate. They charged $45.00 for a 12 year old to practice for ~40 minutes. Kids are the way to golf being sustainable.

Disappointing. The cost to hit a bucket of balls, chip and put is $45
Apr 2020
The course is well kept and the practice facilities are decent. ... Not exceptional but decent. I used to practice here after work because it's close to my office. A year ago you used to be able to buy a bag of practice balls for $15 or $20 and then Chip & Put. They have since JACKED up the cost to practice to FORTY FIVE dollars. This is excessive.

Great fun
Mar 2020 • Friends
Booked tee time online and rented clubs at Van's golf shop for 45$ for full set of Taylormade. They were adequate for me just have to bring several sleeves of balls. Amazingly only lost two balls.
The fairways were in great shape, greens were fast but true and the sand was wonderful in that there were no small rocks nor was it compacted heavy sand like we have in the midwest. Chipping was easier as well since there was no two inch thick rough around the greens. We had a fun time playing this course and certainly will return.

A challenge

A golfing challenge, especially the bunkers. Not as we’ll know as Stadium Course. No need for forecaddies here. Some interesting fun but mostly straight. Bloody Mary made by refreshment lady were suberb.
Not as good as stadium course!

We were staying at the Scottsdale Marriott which is right on the course. I have never played a TPC course so decided to book this one for my wife and myself. I actually recieved a fantastic DEAL TIME so didn't hesitate albeit it was around noon in the heat of the day and boy was it hot!!
We were greeted very professionally and were ready to roll as a twosome. I have to say I was very impressed with the condition of this course during this time of year - I can't imagine what it is like in prime season! I really enjoyed the course and wouldn't hesitate to play hear again. I remember walking up to the first T box and it looked like fake turf it was so perfect.
Many employees working the course keeping it in pristine shape. Each morning in the pitch black we would noticed the workers on the course with their lights on already getting it ready.
We happened to drive by their maintenance yard one evening going out for dinner and it literally looked like a John Deere dealership with the numerous vehicles they had on hand!
Great stop and would highly recommend!
