Scenic area

This is a nice drive with decent roads. Scenery is pretty. Feels like driving through a forest. Scenery is more forest than desert with pine trees.

Oak Creek Canyon is a beautiful place to drive through, the beautiful trees and rock formation will blow your mind. You must drive up the Canyon to Flagstaff as the drive is breathtaking, just go slow and you will see all the glory. Don't forget to stop by Indian Gardens and read about some of the history and then go... More

The drive up oak creek drive was beautiful and the views from the top are amazing, the craft sellers are expensive but well worth the trip.

The views were breathtaking during the hair pin drive from Flagstaff to Sedona. Didn't expect the raw beauty. Highly recommended.

Our tour to the Grand Canyon from Sedona took us on this Canyon Road. It was absolutely charming and beautiful with the light snow cover. Lots of charming homes along this beautiful river bed. The road makes a few hairpin curves as you climb out of the canyon....very pretty and not too scary! I noticed a few campers at the... More

We didn't drive the entire scenic route (round trip from Sedona to Flagstaff, returning on the interstate they say is also beautiful), but what we did see was outstanding. The reddest rocks were in the first few miles from Sedona -- as we progressed to 6000'+ elevation on the highway, it got quite cold and there was snow on the... More

The views up here are in stark contrast to those you will see in Sedona. Green trees and a deep canyon are wonderful to see. There was snow in February. Check out the natives selling arts and crafts in the parking lot, beautifully friendly folk!

Looked like an amazing place to go fishing. I hiked around and can't wait to go back and try to catch some fish on this beauty.

We always drive through Oak Creek Canyon when we visit Sedona. No matter what time of the year, the scenery is always gorgeous. There are fun places to stop to get something to eat, or just a snack, and places to shop for Native American jewelry and gifts.
