Kai went ahead one day Ashe has so much more energy! It took him 2 hours return trip. Although at one point there is a short cut to walk up the east side of the waterfall, the rocks act as steps but he missed this feature on the way up. Coming down he followed others who were using it, shaving... More

We parked on Dry Creek Road near 152 ( just north of 189a) as there were no spots available in this parking lot. We went on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 and the weather was sunny and around 54 degrees....nice for the walk. Round trip to Devil's Bridge was a little over 3 miles of which most was on the 4... More

Parking was next to impossible. We drove around again and again and had to settle for a true "HIKE" to get to the hike.

Great hike. Crowded but the views are magical. The rain caused magical streams pop up everywhere. Just be a bit careful, we say a few hikers take risks for pictures I wouldn't.

Took the Chuckwagon trail and it says it is strenuous but if you are in decent shape it is easy to moderate. Lots of great scenery and also some wooded areas and streams to see local vegetation.

GO EARLY & you won't be disappointed. If you take HIGH Clearance vehicle you'll knock off 2 miles to your hike. Key to driving HIGH clearance vehicle on unpaved & very rocky Dry Creek Road is to crawl slowly & carefully. Trail is a moderate 1.8 R/T from Trail Head with 400' elevation gain. Hike is gradual first 3/4 of... More

My wife and I hiked the trail, and ventured out to the middle of the bridge for a great picture. It was an amazing hike. The rock scramble to get there was steep, but worth the effort.

We rented an ATV and our first stop was Devils Bridge. I didn't make it all the way, but half of our group did. No matter how far you go on this hike, the view of the surrounding area is beautiful and well-worth the visit!

This is a challenging climb and it took us (not so nimble climbers) about 3.5 hours round trip. The shortest entry from a paved road is from Mescal Trailhead but if the normally dry riverbed is filled with a lot of quick-moving water, you'll have to get a bit wet. From there, you hook up with Chuckwagon Trail (go north)... More
