This hike can be very scary especially if it rained the night before and there's still water around. I wore gym shoes and wished I had my hiking boots. We drove to Back O'Beyond Cathedral Rock trail head parking. This is off Rt 179. The view is amazing. The hike to the first flat rock area is slippery so be prepared with shoes with good tread.

The hiking in this amazing area was great for the whole family. From easy to moderate to extreme. The trail could of been better marked but still had fun.

We had rain and slippery conditions....but made it halfway up before turned around! Would have continued had we had sun and dry conditions!
