As a regular hiker in my home in WV, I'm used to hiking the Appalachian Mtns, so this trail was easy enough for me. I feel most able bodied individuals could complete without difficulty. I am used to trails with more cover and there is...More

This hike is fairly easy - about 3.8 miles total and finished in about an hour and 15. Started early to avoid the heat, and it was very quiet and peaceful. You rarely see a Jeep tour (I promise they don't bother you despite what...More

Arizona sun gets very hot, so plenty of water is needed. Nice views along this trail, saw some beautiful cactus flowers along the way.

We decided to hike some trails but it is way too hot to spend much time on the trails unless it is very early. We ended up hiking the Little Horse Trail because it was the shortest. There is very limited shade so take water....More

Very good path, wide and open most of the way, with nominal rocks. Some mnt bikers, more hikers when we were there. Great views! Cut-off to Chapel is a tougher, rockier climb, but getting to the Chapel is cool, and going into the Chapel is...More

Easily found off the highway between Bell Rock and Sedona, this is a pleasant and easy hike that brings you right up to the chapel. Some lovely views again.

When you arrive to Chicken Point, the view is fantastic. Recommend taking a picnic or snack to enjoy while taking in the views. The only downside, for hikers & bikers, are the Jeep Tours, But they don't stay long then you can have peace &...More

Trail was well marked. Distance is just right to get you out of the hustle and bustle, yet you don't have to hike hours and hours. We hiked just under an hour in and then took about 40 min to get back. Takes you back...More

I think your question has been answered - just wanted to add that you can extend the hike if you wish. It's a great hike and the rocks at the end of Little Horse are great for a picnic.
