Cool thing to do in Sedona. Go up and watch the sunset. There will be many others there. Easy drive up and plenty of parking. Take a camera of course

The best overview of the major rock formations in Sedona, and great hiking with well marked trails. Try for a spot in the tiny parking lot prior to the major lot up on top of the hill.

If the views move you- you felt the vortex! I've seen tornadoes, now that's a vortex, here- not so much! Go for the views, the serenity and just to feel nature! Call it a vortex if you wish.

Had breakfast at Mesa. We have eaten there in the past. You don't have to wait like at the Coffee Pot. I had eggs Benedict. It was ok but would not order again with the breakfast potatoes. They were so salty I could not eat...More

We heard so name great things about this place and frankly it was ok. It was beautiful but compared to the views driving on route 179, it was ok

If you are physically able to do an uphill, 1/2 mile hike, the long way is worth taking. I think it's called Scenic Vista Trail. There wasn't much foot traffic here in mid-day, and the views are spectacular as you wind around and up the...More

This is simply breathtaking in more ways than one! Once at your destination, the views are beyond anything you could expect. The drive up there though is more than a little scary for some. I'm not easy frightened but this scared me as the drops...More

My husband and I stayed at A Sunset Chateau, so there was a trail right across the street that connected here. Our hike was very shady and delightful! When we arrived, there were very few parking spots but was only a few hundred feet from...More

This vortex is a little hill right on the edge of town so it's a quick trip to get to. There is free parking right at the base of the hill but space very limited so unless you go off peak or are lucky it's...More

The vortex parking lot is right by the vortex. You simply walk up a hill, about 100 ft high. Easy. The airport parking lot is about 1/4 mile up hill on the road from the vortex parking lot. There is a trail that leads down... More

There is one corner about 1/2 way up which would be a little tight if the traffic is heavy . It is next to the trail head., Which tends to get crowded.

Hello, Sedona has some awesome views. I suggest Red Rock Crossing which you can get to from Upper Red Rock Loop Road. This the the place where the typical photos are taken of Cathedral Rock, but it excellent for a family... More
