The trees located here are very special, some very old growth. Plenty of picnicking sites, grills, parking and toilet. It can get busy here though. Lots of dog walkers, watch out - I saw a coyote at dusk here one time. Great visit of Cathedral...More

We came here with the intent of only photographing Cathedral Rock from Red Rock Crossing, but the paths and trails along Oak Creek compelled us to stay much longer than we intended. A beautiful place and surprisingly quiet mid-week in November. Your state or federal...More

The view of Cathedral Rock is great here. I would definitely recommend coming at least an hour before sunset. You have to pay a $10 daily fee to get in, but it is worth it even if you are only coming for sunset. In warmer...More

We stopped here for lunch and a hike along the river. Very pleasant grounds and picnic area with restrooms.

Not sure what we'd find here, but were impressed with the views - most of the hike was along a sidewalk, but portions were over rolling rock formations or along a stream. Some good photo ops.

NIce area for families to picnic. Enjoyed walking along the creek. Has really good views of Bell and Cathedral Rocks. They charge $10 admission which seems a little much for what you get.

Went there today at suggestion of visitor center. I was told my interagency pass was accepted, it was not and paid $10 to get in. Out of all the free trails in Sedona why go here? Trails not marked, very mediocre in views and trail...More

I would say of all the hiking trails in the Sedona area this would be at the most average. We paid $10 to park the car. The rest rooms smell, they had running water outside to wash your hands. Some hiking trails do not provide...More

A classic icon of Sedona, with gorgeous reflections of Cathedral Rock in Oak creek. Nicer in the off season if you are looking for peace and quiet, and to the point that locals avoid it on weekends, when it is packed with visitors and sometimes...More

I do not understand how anyone could rate this park poorly. It was beautiful and clean and just so peaceful. After all the up & downhill hikes (which we also enjoy), this was a nice break in a serene environment. We really enjoyed our visit...More

The main paths are concrete sidewalks so it is not a problem. Past the fence line towards unobstructed views of Cathedral Rock the path is packed dirt, but again not a big problem as long as you don't try to cross the... More
