We did not get up close to the Snoopy Rock. However it is easily seen from the mail road in town. There are so many beautiful Red Rocks in Sedona this is one more to look at.

This rock formation looks like Snoopy laying on his back. Very interesting - you can even imagine Woodstock standing on his nose.

I wonder what it was called before Snoopy existed... Great feature of the landscape and way to help you find your way around.

We looked right at this and had no idea it was Snoopy Rock. The person that named it must have had a vivid imagination. Not worth any extra effort, especially since there are so many other beautiful rock formations.

was a little muddy in spots but a beautiful trail with iced waterfalls and gorgous views - went in the morning and it was chilly but quiet. Only saw a few other hikers on our way back. the sun on the red rocks looks amazing

Often when rock formations are pointed out, it takes a stretch of the mind to see it. Once someone points out Snoopy Rock, it is clear as day. You can easily see it from uptown Sedona

It's just for the name. First, I didn't see it at all, as there are many bigger formations around. Then walking the main street a salesman showed me when I asked. If you don't see it, don't bother...be sure to see the Cathedral rock, Bell rock and the view from airport lookout.

Make sure to look for Woodstock on Snoopy's nose and Lucy sitting nearby. It's a cute formation to point out to the kids.

We were looking and didn't see it, then a store owner pointed it out to us. Once you've seen it you will always see it when you look in that direction. It was lower than we expected, not the highest peaks. It really does look like Snoopy

You don't really hike to it, you just have to look for it. We found the smaller Snoopy, but were not sure we saw the larger one.
