My husband and I did the self guided inflatable kayak tour a few weeks ago. We both love it. Yes, the water is low right now as the whole state needs rain badly. With that said, that's no fault of Verde Adventures. I'm certain every...More

We had a great tour of the Verde River by kayak - It was pouring rain that day and we had THE BEST time! The guides were great and the Alcantara vineyard was super quaint! The rain was an added bonus! I would definitely recommend...More

We took this kayak trip a week ago when my dear friend and her family were in town. I found this trip on Groupon and it sounded like the perfect thing for us to all do together. In theory it was, but it didn't turn...More

Great tour down the Verde river to the Alcántara winery. This was our third time in the past five years and it’s been adventurous each time. The guide was prompt and on time. We ended at the winery and enjoyed a couple hours having wine...More

This would have been a better trip if A) water was higher B) I had upper body strength. 2.5 hours to go 5 miles where you get stuck on the rocks due to water being low, was to much rushing and made it almost miserable....More

We had a great time! Although the river was low resulting in a bit more paddling, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! We met new people, shared laughs, and ended the trip with wine tasting. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We had a good time -- Kenny was great; very helpful, friendly and offered anything you needed for the float. The water is low in places and it made avoiding the rocks and getting stuck a challenge at times. Certain parts of the river get...More

We did the river float, which was awesome, but there weren't any hand paddles provided this year. They were really helpful last year, as you have to paddle to keep moving in the right direction when the wind blows against you, otherwise, you will actually...More

The river was a little low due to the dry winter, so a couple scoots here and there were necessary. If you're looking for fast water, check the Colorado...but if you're looking for a great relaxing time on the water, this is your place. The...More

Morning, you drive out to the location. Please note, that it is on a dirt road, and you think you are lost, but you're in the right spot if you follow your map, it's just a slow going road. Have an amazing time!

Hi. A conservative estimate would be about an hour and 15 minutes. Its an easy drive, mostly interstate.
