Great Spring Training park

Free parking and small town feel - don't miss a spring training game if you have the opportunity. The park is easy to wander about and watch from many locations,

Royals Spring Training in Surprise

Beautiful little field. It's a gorgeous Stadium. Enjoyed the game, parking was free and very easy. Both were a nice bonus.

Fans near me were friendly.

Up close experience

We enjoyed a rainy day at the park to watch the Rangers play the Giants. Even though the game was called at the 6th inning, we had a wonderful experience. Lots of photo ops (section 114), balls thrown to fans and team stores well supplied.

Mediocre ballpark experience
Mar 2020 • Couples
This was a return trip to watch the Royals play, having been there twice in past years. Very disappointed in the food concessions-fewer choices, and obscenely high prices for items identical to those at other spring training ballparks ($2-4 higher per item). On future trips we will watch the Royals play at another ballpark.

Great baseball venue

What can I say. Any day in the ballpark is better than a day at work! Easy access. Beautiful field. Plenty of fan shopping booths. Net only extends to third base. We were in a seat where “hot fouls” came sizzling in. But, this was only a concern in the outfield seats. I would sit in the same section again. You just have to be alert. If you plan on talking through the game sit behind the infield where there is netting.

fun affordable family entertainment

I went here for a KC Royals spring training game. The stadium staff were very friendly. There was free parking. The stadium was exceptionally clean. They have specials on some nights and it is affordable entertainment for a family.

A must visit for spring training

The Sundancer volunteers are so helpful! You feel welcome from the time you park- which is free for spring training! Not a bad seat in the house and lots of shade if you want it. Hotdogs are giant and delicious. One of the best spring training sites!

Awesome visit

We went to the Texas Rangers’ spring training at Surprise Stadium. It was so much fun. We visited the practice fields early and watched the players practice. They were very willing to sign autographs and take pictures. The games at the stadium were fun in this clean, well-maintained stadium. There were plenty of food choices and a souvenir shop. Of course, food prices are a tad high but pretty common at sports venues. It was a great experience and we hope to go back next year.

Take Me Out To The Surprise Baseball Game ✔️

Surprise Stadium is a great place to watch professional Spring Training baseball games. We watched a Diamondbacks vs. Texas Rangers...the Diamondbacks won 11 to 9.
The staff are so customer focused and friendly. Kudos to the helpful parking lot staff, concession workers, and ushers. The bathrooms are clean, the beer is cold, and the sight lines are great!

Great spring training facility
Feb 2020 • Solo
This is a great spring training facility for the Kansas City Royals and the Texas Rangers. They share the stadium. They have stores for each of the teams so that there's a special emphasis on each one individually. Plenty of great food options and they have a great Upper Deck. The stadium is awesome because it's not too big and not too small it's just intimate and just right. Great Fields clean parking facility all throughout and free parking. Highly recommend catching a game error.
