Our one year grandson needed to let of a bit of steam after patiently accompanying us on various errands. We took him to the Kiwanis Park. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the park was. There's a big shaded area with a bunch of...More

I used to live down the road from this park, and I absolutely love it. I got to visit it again just last week. I used to run along the canal at night (which thinking back, I wouldn't recommend now), and it was my favorite...More

It seems the only sane place to be in July in Tempe! The children have it great. They run and splash through a changing variety of water devices. Happy parents were engaged and getting wet too. It would be helpful to have more shade over...More

So many different things to play on and explore here! We mainly spent time on the playground, and the number of things to play on was just enormous. We wandered from thing to thing for well over an hour. Good stop for kids to get...More

Had some time to kill and found this was the perfect spot for a short walk. Once around is a mile. Paddle boats weren't open yet but lots of folks were fishing on the bank.

We went there for the tennis courts, but overall, for a city owned facility, it is very impressive. The courts are well maintained.

I love this park. It is a mile from end to end with walking paths, small lake with rental kayaks/paddle boats, fishing, playgrounds, covered picnic area's, plenty of grass area. Area's for playing sports (tag football, soccer, etc). too. Within the park is the Kiwanis...More
