Welcome to the Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park. Built in 1882 in the shape of a Greek cross, this two-story Victorian structure once housed the offices of the Sheriff, Recorder, Treasurer, Board of Supervisors, Jail, and Courtrooms of Cochise County. Today this 12,000 sq.Ft. Courthouse is a museum filled with the glitter and guns of those who tamed the territory. The park includes a museum, exhibits, a gift shop, restrooms and shaded picnic areas. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Cash. Museum is open daily from 9:00am- 5:00pm. Stop in for an interesting tour and/or the perfect gift!

There are a few things to look at in the entrance but to see everything it only costs a few dollars but worth it if you are a history buff. Very interesting..

Have lived in southern AZ most of my life with a 6 year exception while serving in the Navy. Here goes: burns me up when people talk down about Tombstone. Ya it's touristy but something has to support this very important piece of Americana. If...More

This is a museum to end your day. Cost is only $5 and the old courthouse is well ventilated. Takes about 40 to 60 minutes to tour.

I enjoyed the many exhibits they had but it really wasn't all that exciting. The gallows are only a reconstruction of what was. I suppose it is cool to see where hanging took place.

The Courthouse gives a real feel for the goings on of the days of the silver rush in Tombstone. From the finality of justice to the intricacies of mining, it is a great encapsulation of the 1870's.

Kids and I had a great time during Wyatt Earp days, and this place had a lot of interesting things and displays, and staff set kids up with a scavenger hunt. Great ladies up front, and kids loved it. So did I. Highly recommended, and...More

This is pretty neat. Get past the Wyatt Earp history, and you find out a lot more about Tombstone. This was the Cochise County courthouse from 1882 to 1929. Lots of great history and artifacts, and beautiful architecture.
