Canyon Lake is nestled between red rock walls. Boating and fishing are permitted, or just hanging out along the short and enjoying the natural beauty of this desert area. It makes for a nice stop on your way to Tortilla Flat.

NO - don't take the chance and just show up! That is what we did and we almost did not make it on! They only had 5 tickets left and I was lucky enough to get two. All the other people had reservations.
