This is the place to go to see Arizona wildlife, so beautiful! It was a bit of a drive but so worth it to get out of the city and see what Arizona is really like.

My wife and I joined friends for a day of boating on Canyon Lake. We had a great time. The place is ruggedly beautiful.

Winding, but pretty drive less than an hour from Phoenix. There are options for kayaking, boating, picnicking and beach areas. Scenic views and makes for a good day trip out of the city!

I'm not sure on cost as my in-laws paid for the boat rental. I know you pay for the boat regardless of how many people. I think it's at least $200 for about 4-5 hours. But I'm sure there's a rental website somewhere with... More
