Go see the IMAX show before heading off to see the GC. It gives you an excellent perspective of the history of the site. Well worth it.

We all enjoyed the information that was available at the museum. It explained what we are seeing while driving thru and how it was all formed. Well worth the stop for a break and a/c!

Great souvenirs and good service. We stopped in here to use the restrooms and ended up spending about a half hour looking around and buying some quality items. Be sure to compare the prices here to the ones in the park as several of the items are virtually identical.

We decided to take a little more time and tour the Grand Canyon, on our drive down to Phoenix,Wow and wow, just wished we had more time to explore and drink in the beauty. I am so impressed how nice the highways were because there was a lot of snow. The signage was great so we could pull in and... More

This will give you a very good idea of what to expect, and see during your visits, do buy lots of postcards, as the photography on them is better than you can do. I am happy I visited here before exploring the canyon, as it gave me the ideas on where to go for the best scenic views (after all... More

We made an effort to visit the Centre. It has food available to purchase as well as lots of quality souvenirs. The best was the IMAX movie of the canyon. Very informative and exciting. It felt like we were in a plane flying over the canyon. Mark this as one of your must do's

My husband and I viewed the IMAX the night before going to the Canyon and thought it was great! It was very informative about the Canyon's history.

The IMAX movie is original from 1984. It looks analog, and not up to today's standards. There is better video on the internet. The film is blurry, dark, and faded. Too much money for this. However, the people are very nice and informative.

Thank you for your opinion. The film has been updated several times since it's original debut however the story of the Grand Canyon is timeless and we've found that leaving it in it's original format works best for now. Our equipment is kept to the highest standards provided by IMAX so I'm not sure why it would have been blurry... More

The Rangers were very helpful and told us what the best way to see the sights would be. They had gorgeous pictures up everywhere and it was cool to look learn a little about the animals and history.

Thanks so much for stopping and I am biased but I think we have some of the best Rangers around. I'm glad you enjoyed the visitors center and all that we have. Marty More
