We booked a Jeep tour through our hotel because they offered a discount on our room fare. Originally we were scheduled for the sunset tour buy we didn't landing at the airport in time to make that tour so they were nice enough to flex us to a tour the following day, "safari and rim walk." It ended up being... More

We did three tours with two different guides (Sheila and Mark) both of whom were knowledgeable, informative and extremely pleasant. These were interspersed with many hikes along the beautiful trails into the canyon. During our tours we learned of the flora and fauna, saw beautiful views of the Canyon, learned about the rich history of the area and even viewed... More

We took two tours with the first being the Grand Sunset Tour with Pete. This tour combined time in the Kaibab National Forest and the Grand Canyon. Pete provided a running commentary of the wildlife and plant life in the Forest. One highlight was a stop at a lookout tower that we climbed. From that vantage point we could see... More

Even on a grey and rainy afternoon our tour guide Sheila made this experience fun! She is extremely knowledgeable and shared insights along our off road journey through the Kaib National forest . Our teenagers loved learning so many fun facts about the trees , the pioneers , and the animals of the forest. We would not have learned all... More

We were the only 2 people on the tour, probably due to the fact it was foggy and lashing down with rain. The guide, Scott, asked if we had longer in the Grand Canyon area so that we could reschedule but this was our one and only opportunity. We drove through the forest which was gorgeous and fresh due to... More

One more item checked off my bucket list -- my first Jeep tour. What fun! I saw areas of the South rim forests I didn't know existed. We also stopped at some canyon overlooks new to me; viewed different rock formations as sun was setting. Our driver, Pete, is a great educator AND entertainer. Seats in our Jeep were very... More

Driver, Pete, was very informative, entertaining and an exceptional driver for our 3 hour jeep sunset tour. Jeep had comfortable seats that faced forward which is better than the competitors jeeps whose seats sit sideways. Even had blankets for the cool ride back. I chose to climb the 95 steps to the top of the fire tower. What a view!... More

Before our arrival at the Grand Canyon we spent a few days at Canyonlands National Park where one of the highlights was an off road jeep trip. We enjoyed this so much that we decided to book another and were recommended the Grand sunset tour by our hotel who made the reservation. At $174 the cost was the same as... More

Thank you for sharing your experience of the Grand Sunset Tour. As you stated, our tour greatly differs from the tour you had taken in Utah. The back country of Moab, Utah offers highly technical roads and passengers travel over rough terrain. We promote our tour as an informative eco-tour of the diverse and beautiful Grand Canyon Area rather than... More

My mom had been wanting to take this tour after hearing about it from a couple friends who had visited the Canyon. We went and were fortunate to have Sheila as our guide. She was engaging, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable! The other people who were supposed to be on the tour cancelled and she really listened to what we wanted... More
